On my first playthrough of Suikoden V I was really intruigued by Levi. What I found peculiar about him is how little information I found regarding him

I'm curious if there's any info on him and also his snake staff, which seems to have special properties and and looks like it's some sort of being.

Well, it seems info on the serpentine staff is indeed scarce. I wondered if any additional info has/will be released for it. I won't have my hopes up really, though...

I kinda liked Levi quite a bit, too. I don't know why, but he was just... nifty!

Yeah, there is definately something to a guy that shoots lasers out his staff and blasts 100 foot deep, well carves holes out of solid earth and rock. He's almost like a living Armored Core, without being a giant, money-sucking machine you ride in and blast military bases with. Yes, just getting Levi and watching him blast the living heck out of everything in site is more then entertaining. Almost as entertaining as Richard.

I hope the next big nuker mage we get is more like Orphan. That would be incredibly cool, and I can 100% garauntee you that I would use that character to the bitter end. I've only used Crowley, Mazus (only sometimes, though), and Levi. The rest I've just left alone because I couldn't stand them. A character on their level but more like Orphan would make my decade!

Anyway, back to Levi... That's some really interesting info you have there, John Layfield. I mean about Levi and Crowley... Their names being tied to real magicians. I never knew that. Very cool.

Mazus is also named after a 'real' magician, McGregor Mathers. Just for reference.

I always liked Levi. I thought he was cool with his snake staff, and when he attacks he shoots out big blue blasts that reminded me of kamehamehas from dragonball z. He is also the only male mage that I can think of that can come close to matching Zerase, Jeane, Eresh, and Viki in the magic category.

Levi is an awesome magician, just like Mazus. Though I wish he was fast as Zerase and also actually had some Unite attack, perhaps with Bergen.

ummm levi does have a unite attack. it's with zerase and it's called pride of magic.

Uhm yeah thats right. I must have forgotten it despite the fact I used that unite a couple of times. But I usually prefer 1 magician, so it would be cool if Levi had also an unite with an attacker.

BTW I am shure there was a magician who didnt have an unite at all!

Cornelio doesn't have a unite either.

I dislike the Zerase and Levi Unite though..makes Levi look like an idiot heh...
