we do already have the black text. but i've seen the spoiler tag and it is pretty cool. it's like a quote box, but instead of it saying quote it says spoiler. and it has the box darked out so you'll have to highlight it.

I'm thinking that if a person can't be bothered to use the [color=black] technique then they most probably won't bother to use a spoiler code substitute.

I think the spoiler box is more useful because it more easier to use than to colored it in black (the code is more simple).
Compare these following code :
[spoiler][/spoiler]
with
Consider also the easier to reveal the spoiler. At black text we need to block the text meanwhile with spoiler tags, we just need to click it.

You would need to have Javascript support, if I recall the inner workings of most spoiler mods. That might be an issue. However, there would be some interesting applications, such as being able to post huge images inline without having them break the page. Spoiler tags are nice and convenient.
I'm not against a spoiler mod either, although I won't complain if it's not implemented. Seems that SARS has bigger fish to fry at the moment.

As things stand, the forum works. If it's not broken, don't fix it.
Since he just started implementing 80% of his new idea (considering the fact that the War system counts for 20% of it ...), this probably won't get much attention until he needs to think about something else :)
