Suikoden I: I can't remember, but I think Eileen died a few times...
Suikoden II: Freed Y. *sighs* He's not good for anything *mumbles*
Suikoden IV: Noone I think.
Suikoden V: Norden . . . he always died in important battles :damn: _________________

The other day in that battle in Lelcar I lost Belcoot, and Belcoot is my favorite character so I had to do the whole battle over again it really sucked. |

This time around, I replayed Suikoden V with no SoD losses.
It seeems that with the experience I now have due to playing the game before, I already know what to do during War Battles, so much that I could prevent character deaths. _________________

I had guys dying whenever I was careless during the army battles. Once I was watching my friend play it was his first play of Suikoden, in his save, he was in "battle at Sharazzade" of Suikoden. He let his Pesmerga and Luc died and we were laughing at him, saying "you don't have to play Suikoden III anymore, there won't be anymore in your save game" He was really clueless at that time, he didn't know Luc was the bad guy of III :) _________________

oh man this really pissed me off. In suikoden V when you take back Stormfist
Belcoot was killed right before I basically got a victory in the battle. and I like what the shit?
So i had to restart and I hadnt saved in awhile. that really grinded me gears

Suikoden I = Eileen used to die a coupple of times.
Suikoden II = none
Suikoden III = none
Suikoden IV = Gau
Suikoden Tactics = Snowe and Thristhan.
Suikoden V = before i knew what to do in the battle of Lelcar I lost Belcoot there. Then in one of the last battles, I lost Ernst, because i reacted too late with Georg's Infantry unit => failed to a cavalry unit
Can't remember any more SoD dying in a battle... _________________ Mess with the best, die like the rest!

Numerous times. But I usually reset the game when that happens. I've seen Gengen , Hannah, Belcoot, and many others die for the hell of it. _________________ - 108 Soldiers, 1 for EVERY star.

I've never really lost a character in the major battles, although I've had certain characters die on me countless times in Rhapsodia.. otherwise though, I've never really had a character die on me in an important war battle. _________________

I had one person, each, die in Suikoden I and II before, but I reset immediately when it happened. I forget who they were, though. _________________

My only deaths were on the old Suikoden, the last one I remember was Tuta dying in the final Battle with Highland on suikoden 2. Oh and Eileen on Suikoden 1 in the battle against Yuber at the end. Was not to bad both times, I always save alot on RPGs. _________________ "In the rain, I'm calling you dear, find my way, can't you see me standing right here" ~ I.V - X Japan

The only one I've played recently is V. And I'm not bragging, but I'm a perfectionist in V's war battles. I've won plenty of battles with ALL my soldiers still alive. It's normally my goal, and I take all the time in the world to achieve it. But, I'm yet to lose anyone.

I remember having a number of people die in Suikoden 1. I don't remember every single one but I had Antonio, Qlon and Max die on me. I don't think it happened at all in any of the other installments. _________________ So long! I gotta go do wrong! |

Want to hear something really sad...
My second time playing though Suikoden 1, I had Luc die on me... Yes that's right Luc. I'll never forget it because that was when i first found out that characters could die in big battles. Poor Luc. |
