I have a question. How does Lucretia, a Grasslander, could be in the noble league? Did she raises up the rank? Also, did she migrate there when she's young?
And where is Georg hails from? |

Lucretia hails from Karaya, but she somehow ended up studying military strategy in Harmonia. Marscal Godwin met her when he was traveling in the northern continent, and brought her back as a strategist. She earned her place in the aristocracy because of the strategic prowess she showed during the war between Falena and New Armes that took place 8 years prior to Suikoden V's timeline.
No info is given about where Georg comes from, but additional info is given about his past. He was a mercenary who worked together with Ferid when he was younger. Because Ferid hails from the Island Nations, Georg may have originally come from the Island Nations. However, no concrete information is given. |

Belcoot doesn't hail from Kanakan, he merely went there to get some training. He's originally from Falena.

Whoa, he is really? I thought in an english translation someone did of the videos on youtube.com, when he was fighting that assassin (forgot his name) in the Battle God Tournament that he hailed from Kanakan.
Do you think there is a chance in future that we might learn where Georg is from for sure?
EDIT: Can a Mod please delete the extra posts, I didnt realize I have 2 other post after my original and the Delete function isnt showing up.. _________________ "Even if the morrow is barren of promises nothing shall forstall my return."- Genesis

Warning!! Possible spoilers
He was a gladiator of an aristrocrat before running away ten years ago prior to Suikoden V Timeline. He participated in the tournament in hope to release all the gladiators. A noble gladiator indeed. |

He had his reasons to not reveal his true origin in public, especially not in the "Battle God Tournament" (sp). |

So, are any Zairland or Nagaar soldiers seen in the game? Or, are any of the SoDs or other characters from those nations? |

Yeah, woe be him who loudly proclaims:
"Hello, I used to be a slave in this country but I escaped, and now I am back to give it a shot to be the next queen's husband!" Yeah, that'd fly pretty well. |

At least he had an honorable intention to participate in the tournament. |

Zahak and Son of Liberty, I've deleted a few of your most recent posts due to them being plot-related spoilers that had absolutely nothing to do with the geography of Falena or its neighbors. Please do not go off on spoiler tangents.

I have a question about Lucretia. What is the symbol on her forehead? At first, I thought she was from Na-Nal, but since you said Karaya, I am confused. Though, it is nice to see a Suikoden III reference. |

About the Kanakan trade going through Hershville and going to the Island Nations through Estrise, couldn't it just be the circumstances of war? During the Haleth events, didn't Kisara question Logg about how he's getting Kanakan wine since "Kanakan trade is now coming through Hershville" (emphasis on the 'now'). Then there was one NPC I talked to in Hershville who said something to the effect (I think) that they are having lots of problems as usually trade goes to Estrise which has a better port etc but because of the war it's now coming through Hershville which is not made for this volume of trade. Also although you go to Nilba from Estrise and Estrise is the place with the most Island Nation's influence (since Boz's ship is made with the 'latest Island Nations technology'), and would thus logically be closest to the Island Nations, when Skald Egan attends Limsleia's coronation he docks at Hershville because since the coronation he's attending is a Godwin-backed on and Hershville is a Godwin port. Thinking in this fashion the in-game discrepency between the geography of Falena vis-a-vis the Island Nations/Kanakan trade can be solved, because while they still have Limsleia the Godwins are considered the legitimate power in Falena so trade will naturally go to Godwin controlled ports like Hershville. _________________

Lucretia doesnt even really look Karayan, she has lighter skin then normal Karayans from Suikoden III, she looks the same as Jimba? _________________ "Even if the morrow is barren of promises nothing shall forstall my return."- Genesis |

But, Jimba wasn't really a Karayan.
And, you have some good points there, Melange. There's a lot of emphasis on the way people are trading and such due to the war. I'm sure there are many other ways to get to the Island Nations and other places by other ports. |

I know he wasnt, I was just kinda of comparing her to Jin's complexion.
But during war times, wouldnt most posts, ships at sea be banned dued to the war? I remember how head it was for Riou and the others to get a cross with a boat. _________________ "Even if the morrow is barren of promises nothing shall forstall my return."- Genesis |

That's because the ships would only be travelling direct to towns that belong to the nation Highland were at war with.
As far as I'm aware, there is a severe lack of Falena/Kanakan or Falena/New Obel Island Colony Never Heard Of Before This Game conflicts in Suikoden V. _________________ One day, I shall come back.
