After playing NCAA football 06, Chrono Trigger on PS one and creating wrestlers in WWE Day of Reckoning 2 this load time is nothing. The encouter rate didn't seem to bad at all to me. Sometimes I think people who have to fight more than 3 battles while going from one town to another think thats to much.
Wonders as the game goes along, does the sprite change people or even outfits depending what said character is wearing?

thank you for the links to the videos. :D They're awesome.
The loading for the battles and whatnot are'nt as bad as some rumors were saying. The sun animation for the battles are fluid and the loading is'nt as bad as Suikoden 4's "ripple" effect.
The towns do seem alot bigger and more explorable than both Suiko3 and Suiko 4 so I'm glad for that. THe graphics are also nice. World map is also really great and seems expanive.
My hype for this game is at an all time high as well. |

i was watching one of the videos and on the world map when you go into a battle the screen gets bright like the sun is shining bright.thought that was a cool idea since the game deals with the sun rune.

What the hell...
That's just silly, Sialeeds going nuts over Lizards...The only character I've actually liked that whole,"I hate this so I'm going to freak out" deal was Rikku in FFX because she was so cute. Shion in XS and now Sialeeds..;(

Sialeeds looked pretty okay with fighting it tho... I was half expecting her to have a negative status effect on her when the battle started... maybe that's cos she's in the back row, far away from her hated lizard... perhaps if you put her in the front row... :twisted:

If she was in the front row she wouldn't attack. Long range people need to be fauther away I think.

DIdn't they change in SV so that if you're long ranged and in the front you can attack but the chances of hitting are low?

I think Akaghi used his like that because he lost the other one or it might be that using them the way he did requires upper body strength that Sialeeds does not have.

| and when you said that it is silly for the way sialeeds acted it is actually spmething that can be true. Someone can truly hate lizards and act the way she did. So it makes the game more real then the others even as real that it can be. |
