Well, for Kika, I recommend the Wind Sword Rune, a Gale Rune, and of course the Falcon Rune. The Berserker Belt is also very helpful. Because of her high skill, Kika will rarely, if ever, miss, and accuracy is automatically one hundred percent anyway if you use the Falcon Rune.
Sigurd I've never used. Can't help you there.
Mitsuba is really fairly straightforward. Give her the Dried Grass Amulet to fix up her skill, a Gale Rune for her speed, and the Smash skill and she becomes a killing machine.
Hope that helps. |

Kika does well with the Balance Rune also since it keeps her from being left defenseless after using her higher level Falcon skills. _________________

the balance rune is helpful when you use her top falcon spell *causes imbalance* for kika; having cyclone sword ups her damage significantly. she also tends to have a really high critical rate, possibly one of the highest in game.
sigurd is best with the flowing sword rune, eagle rune and then whatever support rune works best for whatever you plan to use him for; if you plan to have him mounted, a kangacorn might be best, or for the healing boost, a sunbeam.
not sure what to do with mitsuba, although a sunbeam would help her, if she gets a third slot; i haven't gotten her up high enough to find out just yet. she does do a great deal of damage, and she also seems to have a high critical rate, so a berserker belt might be a good bet for her. _________________ prinny...DOOD!

I had Kika with a cylcone rune and killer rune. I didn't giver her a balance rune since I rarely used her high-level Falcon Rune spells, only against a big boss so felt the rune slot was better used boosting Kika's critical attacks.
Sigurd with an Eagle rune. Clairvoyance is a great attack. I also gave him a flowing sword rune so he could stand on his element and then use clairvoyance. I can't remember if I gave him another rune or what it was.
I didn't do much with Mitsuba, I think it involved a killer rune.
I personally wouldn't use any three of these characters on mounts (I think Sigurd is the only one that can use them).
Killer runes are always a great rune to use if you don't know what to stick on someone. It's my opinion that sunbeam isn't worth it as I like to use elemental terrain to my advantage and I believe that open rune slot can be used on something better than a meagre HP increase every turn. However, getting terrain elements to match your character can be difficult so the Sunbeam has some merit. But given the chance, I'll stick a killer rune on over a sunbeam. _________________ ______ "We're still flying"
