Actually I too am addicted to use the R3 button for walking and I think there is no game I played on the PS2 where it isn't used for walking, which makes the PS1 game somewhat annoying since this feature isn't available on most of the old RPG games.

Anyway, I really am happy to know that there are lots of people who like to use these features and thank you everyone for sharing all of these "Tips and Tricks". :)

So you will save money, but will you save time with thsi trick?

Obviously you can't save time. But it doesn't take much time. For example, at the beginning of Chapter 3, Geddoe's team goes to Vinay Del Zexay. Well while you're there, pick up trade items. You do the same when you go anywhere.... so it's not taking up a whole lot of extra time. It's not like you spend a day wandering around between towns to do it, you do the stuff while you're there.

That one works. Choose to stay, then the option to save or don't save comes up. Just hit cancel, and you're rejuvenated as if you had stayed in the inn, but you're not charged any potch for it! This doesn't work in Suikoden 1, since you automatically stay the night with no option to save.

It's handy before you recruit Hilda, and even before you get the Blinking Mirror...or if you're just a miserable cheapskate. :P
