ok i agree with everyone else on this - it's probably a not literal meaning, i've seen a lot of other similar instances in books and other games.
BUT i wouldn't be surprised if hix and tengaar are blood related, because a LOT of japanese books, shows, comics, and video games seem to have couples who are cousins or somehow blood related and are in love (for example. bart and that girl from xenogears were cousins, some characters in fruits basket are totally in love with each other despite being related, and many others. and, of course, no other characters even question it or think it's weird. so that must be a japanese "thing" |

Because its in other Japanese comics,books and etc doesnt mean that, but if they're both related to Klift like you say, then I agree with you.
