| Nobody said the Whip is her weapon..Maybe its just some kind of accesory she wears that makes her outfit look cooler like Hugo using 1 Dagger even though he has 2 and Ayame using her Throwing Weapon even though shes in battle stance with her Claw and Watari also using a throwing weapon even though hes wielding his sword >.< |

Yeah, I forgot about the scythe when I wrote that.
I would rather that someone else takes the Tenkan star other then a returning Luc. I would rather that they have someone else entirely take that star. Of course, if this is a prequel, then we might see Luc, but I would be perfectly fine without him...

Maybe that whip like object she is holding is really a rope to tie up something. ( in the movie the ground was shakeing, maybe the shaking broke something and she went and got some rope to tie it up?) It'll be cool if lorelai will return in suikoden 5.

I kindof hope that she doesn't have the bow or the scythe. There has only been one or two people in the series that have used whips as their weapons. It would be nice to have another one to add to the list.
Perhaps she got her bow from one of the people here, and that will lead to Suikoden I and then S2....

Yea Lucia is the only one i can think of too. Although i may be wrong. I am not too big of a fan of the whip anyway. Seems more of a torture weapon to me.

That's who I was thinking of when I said two people. I was referring to Badeaux and Lucia. I am beginning to think that one of the S1 pirate trio used a whip, but I don't think I'm right on that one...

Nope. Only Badeaux and Lucia have ever used whips. As for the pirate trio, Anji uses a spear, Leonardo a hatchet, and I think it's Kanak you were thinking about, who had a sickle and a chain as weapons.
I just don't see Lorelai using a whip though. We'll just see.

I can't really say that I can see her using a whip either, but since she is somewhat of an explorer, you have to be good with numerous weapons, so we'll wait and see...

I say if Lorelai can use a bow and a shield at the same time, there's no reason she shouldn't be able to use a whip, too. ;)

Everytime I close my eyes and think of Lorelai she has a whip. This was even back during Suikodens 1 and 2. Meow!
But now that I think about it that whip looks too small. It probably is just a tool of some kind. I wouldn't be surprised of she ended up with a sword or something.
