omg guys look in the 10 min trailer at exact 6 min what kind of clothes our hero has on!! dont we know that from somewhere?

And at 8:05 could that be Camus and Gordo (sp?) from the Matilda knights in rockaxe? i mean hes not as fat as he is in suikoden II there but maybe they are younger

No you don't. They only look like Tir's, but they're not.

Yes we are all aware his clothes are reminsient of Tir's. Heck almost looks just like em. I wonder how it'll come into play? A desgise?

Maybe those clothes have a special meaning in Faleena and Teo came from there or just gave Tir thoe clothes because of that kind of meaning..its pretty far off but im VERY sure there is SOME kind of connection i mean come on konami must have noticed that they would confuse us

The clothing is almost identical. The only main difference (from what is visible in the video) is the chest piece meets in the middle instead of having a piece that crosses over to the right breast. Aside from that, it's identical, colours and all, except for the green strip of something hanging from the Hero's belt.

If you watch, there's actually a stripe of green something that flows seperate from the rest of his clothing, above the red/gold tabard style. Were those the pants for the clothing, there would be gold trim visible at the edge of the tabard, as with the rest of the style.

If it is near the Suikoden I timeline you could simply brush it off as a style. Both are sons of wealthy parents which wouldn't make it strange for them to wear similar things if it were the style of the gentry in such times.

That would be a nice idea to have. I would probably keep him in the outfit that looks like Tir's. The few differences that I noticed were the pants that he was wearing were red, while Tir's were black, and that he had more red on the shirt then Tir.

Maybe they adopted Snowe's multiple costumes idea from IV and implemented it on the Hero? It would definitely have more impact, as he will be with you throughout the entire game, unlike Snowe.

Thinking about the costumes, how about his first was one he was actually accepted by Falena, the one we see when he is sparring with Rione. The 2nd one is when he goes off on his own or the like and the 3rd is when he takes command of the army.

The 2nd could be his "night clothing"

I thought that the first one was the one we saw him in first (the sleeveless one). If I am correct, the second outfit is the more laid-back outfit, that is seen when he sees his father and sister (during the latter part of the "Theme of the Moonlit Night" song). Then the third outfit is the one that somewhat resembles Tir's outfit, but not quite exactly the outfit...
