I’ve made some banner at my free time, would you give comment on my work?

To be honest, they aren't that bad at all. I'll comment one by one.

The first one, I have no clue what the background is, but I sort of like it none the less. It wasn't really clear as well what purpose the angel looking creatures have because they aren't related to Sierra. Last but not least, you might want to make the text more readable or simply remove it. It's definitely distracting the face of the middle Sierra.

The second one is okay looking. Problem for me is that it seems to have no relationship to the "Jowston City-State". Georg is from Queendom of Falena, Elza from Sajah (or HVG if you prefer her relation to Harmonia rather than her homeland), and Sierra isn't from Jowston either. Then the 3 elemental true runes (Fire, Wind, Earth), while I love the combining them into 1 like that, they serve no purpose other than being eye-candy making it prettier.

Overally, they are okay, but definitely could be much better.

Great banners, I like the way you mesh things together especially on the second one, because you put one of my favorite characters Georg Prime in it.

I have asked around a few times to make a banner but i had no replies
The maker of my banner will be rewarded with 80 soldiers or even more....

They are pretty good! But in the second banner, the backdrop, the Charakter and the Runes don't suit Jowston-City-State... They're all wrong, as Bugg sayed before ... A picture of Muse, Charakters from Muse and Runes as the Rune of the Beginning would suit. But I think, it was said before... But I like both banners. (If the second one were correct)

hmmm... lets see:

First banner - text across her face? while it doesn't ruin the picture of her, the text is nearly unreadible. The faces themselves cut off way too fast and there doesn't seem to be a pattern to the 'fades'. The background is alright if a little confusing, but i do like the angels / colours / picture selection.

Without going into the logical "that's Karaya" etc side of things, the edges of Georg's face seem almost too clearly defined? Is that an outer glow? The text on this one is also hard to read, and gets lost in the background. However the runes and characters are nicely laid out on that backdrop.

Not meaning to sound too harsh, but well that's what i see. Simplicity beats business in my mind, just look at the Highland banner below.

I like the first one more since it makes more sense than the second one, the color combination is very unique but does not fit her, and the position of Sierra is kind of good maybe if you close them together a little and replace the angels with the Moon Rune and make them a little visible. About the text, it might be better if you move it down a bit, change the color and make it a little darker, other than that everything is looking somewhat good.

Ummm, no, they're not my drawings of course, I just took some official Suikoden artworks and added backgrounds and stuff.
The first picture's background is from Malice Mizer's album covers and the second picture's obviously the Karayan Village.
The only reason I put Jowston The City State there was because I am part of Jowston City State in this forum :wink:

They`re nice enough, although they seem a little "crowded" to me...and the second one makes no sense, as others have pointed out. Try replacing those characters with Hugo, Lucia and Jimba or something...I know, I know...I love the Karayans. :P

Oh, and I`d prefer one larger True Fire instead of those 3 Runes, but that`s just me...

One thing I want to say, which no one has said already...

personally....I find the 3 characters placement on the 2nd banner a bit odd.

Their heads just float especially Elza. It isn't THAT big of a deal that it's the first thing you notice on the banner, but after looking at it for awhile...it just nags at me...

I will make revision since this banner was just a beta version. Maybe it will take about one week, cause i have some other project to do (make banner for a friend's website). In the meantime i have posted another work of mine in the main section. Please give them comment again. It's allright if you want to use the image, just credit me :wink:
