IN a thread about racial superiority in the Suikoden world, an interesting notion came to mind. If all of the minorities were to send ONE warrior to participate in a battle royale, who would come out victorious? Well that's what I'm asking you! Out of these characters, who would represent their minority race the best and conquer?
Edit: December 4, 2006. With the Suikoden Five forum gone we can discuss the new minority we've met: BEAVERS! _________________

I would put my money on Twaikin any day. His skills are excellent and abundant. He takes little damage and can send a lot back. He's by far the strongest listed, if a bit slow. |

Im going with Duba hes a great fighter leveled up, and hes a lizard. Hes the strongest listed by far i think.
Twaikin is ok but hes just not that great of a fighter. _________________

Jordi. He's one of only three peope listed who has "official" combat training, his weapon allows him a certain degree of reach, and he's a duck. So if anyone messed with him, I'd go berserk and murder them. _________________

Oh, but Twaikin is an excellent fighter once his skills are leveled up. He is really really good.
Krawnik, I would agree with you except that he had a low defensive capability and most of the characters he'd be up against are high attackers. |

Yeah Twaikin was pretty valuable to me when I was playing Suikoden 3, he dished out alot of damage and didn't take that much in return, very useful in a major battle that characteristic I found myself. I think I eventually gave him a double beat rune that evened out the amount of damage he was taking compared to others but let him lay some serious hurting on my enemies, just a shame he could never hit Yuber. _________________

I am going to go with Twaikan. Everybody will underestimate the dwarves because of their stature, but Twaikan packs a punch. He has a great defense and can hit for a lot of damage. Oh yea and he packs one hell of a shovel. Awesome weapon. _________________

Double beat? What does that do? I never found one of those. |

Double Beat runes allow the character equipped with it to attack twice in one round. There's also Double Strike runes, that allow you to distribute and receive damage doubly. _________________

Twaikin's the best defensively. He's the only tank who has high magic resistance. He can get an S in that skill if you give him three Gold Emblems, added to his normal max of B+, and he has an 06 stat in MDF too. He's also the only tank who can benefit from the Level 99 trick. The only drawback is that he only has one swing. Also, he can get an A in Earth Magic.
I like Jordie better though. He has the two-rune slot advantage. He's more efficient with a Fury Rune and a Killer Rune, which will help him deal more critical hits in addition to his B+ in Heavy Damage and 06 stats in SKL and LUK. He can only get up to B in Armor Protect, but he can also equip Custom Helms or Horned Helms. |

Where can you get a double beat rune? I've never heard of it. |

I would have to go with Dupa as the strongest, and as far as the elves are concerned I have personally found that Selma is the strongest of the elves I have used. _________________

Sorry guys but I accidently voted for the Nay-kobolds. I just wanted to see the results and I forgot there was a special button for just that. Anywho, I preferred the Ducks probably with a close second with the Kobolds. I have a thing for the cute and fluffy(yet viciously murderous  ). |

Looks like I got them backwards in that case and I meant I gave him a double strike rune.
EG, you've not seen them before? They're some of the best runes in the game for the physical fighters, really useful to have around. _________________

I didn't think it existed in Suikoden III and it probably doesn't. Suikoden III is my department and I only played through I and IV twice each. Never picked it up there. Never finished II. |
