Right now i am afraid of not doing well on my final tommorow. It is late and i had to pull an all nighter just to be able to finish studying for my test's today so i haven't had time to really study for my test tommorow since i had to get some sleep. It's amazing what finals will do to your health, eating habits, and sleeping habits if you don't budget your time accordingly. Hell i can remember one year i didn't sleep for three straight days because of tests and studying. I ended up actually not being able to sleep right for a week. I was up all night, and even then i didn't need as much sleep as i used to. It took me a couple of weeks to get back on schedule. Wierd. _________________

i agree with you Rugner. I'm afraid of failing a final, which i might have done today  . Though I'm pretty sure I'm not failing any of my classes I need good grades to keep my really good scholarship.
I'm also afraid of heights. I can do planes because I need to, but sometimes rollercoasters scare the me quite badly - though I've never puked from one, which is good. Tall Ladders and buildings do the trick for me, I couldn't go all the way up the Eiffel Tower :x . |

YOu too?! I had to take two sociology finals today... the first one was easy. However the second one, was a make-up final, not even designed by the teacher. I just had to sleep through my 9 oclock class during test day, a long time ago. Now the final was double in size, and completely out of the test book. I had no clue what questions were asking. Lucking it really wasn't a final...but it was a test, and it kicked my arse... I Fear doing bad on all my tests I suppose....and now I"m really tired... _________________

bees and wasps, it comes from being chased by swarms due to proximity as a child, still cant shake that fact..and then also that i managed to accidentally touch bee bare handed while putting streamers up and it didnt even so much as make a buzz. Freaked me out and made me fall off my ladder though. _________________

I never understood the clown fear everyone has. Was it from seeing "It" at a young age?
Or that one episode of "Are You Afraid of the Dark" with the clown? That episode was pretty creepy.
I always just found clowns to be funny.
That's part of it. Luckily parents don't let their kids watch that kid of crap nowadays *shudders*. I think I was like 5 when I saw that movie. You must be crazy to think they are funny...God...if one ever gets near my I'd beat him to the ground...I'll probably be screaming like a sissy at the same time but I'd still beat him to the ground...
|
Man, I remember that movie "Killer Clowns From Outer Space"...scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. I was afriad this clown on my wall would shoot me with a cotton candy gun and drink my blood on their spaceship. My mom loves these weird, sci-fi horror films so when she would take care of me at night when my dad was at work that's what I watched with her. I'm 24 and still hate clowns.
I'm afraid of planes. I hate them. I hate that I have no control of the situation on them and you can't do anything to get yourself out of it. They're a necessary evil but still scare me. You can survive a car wreck...very, very fortunate if you survive a plane wreck.
I also hate spiders, thatnsk to "Arachnaphobia"...I always check my slippers and shoes for spiders, etc. *shivers*...Yeah...just don't like spiders. |

I think everyone has some sort of inner fear of plans. I too seem to be very uneasy when I'm on a airplane. There is a feeling of "what if.." and you know that what ever does happen, and something does go wrong.. your bassically screwed. I mean, I like to ride on planes for the most part...and generally I don't have panic attacks.. but there is always something in the back of my head every time there is turblence tellign me "is this the time were going to die?" _________________

I FREAKING HATED THAT MOVIE!! Especially the whole sucking of blood with a straw while trapped in cotton candy!! I stopped eating that stuff because of it. I thought it was going to engulf me as I took a bite and then the clowns would come...I used to be sooo scared of them...but now I just think I hate them.
Anyway I saw that movie like a year ago and I couldn't stop laughing. HOW CHEAP!! Did that movie cost like $12 to make? I cannot believe I was scared of it...
Oh and I think I also saw this other movie about clowns when I was little. I think it was called The Three Clowns (Ok...I decided to Google it and found it! It's called CLOWNHOUSE...). I think this one is actually the one that made me fear clowns...even though a lot of people don't know it and haven't seen it. It's about this kid that has a fear of clowns and these 3 psycho mental patients escape from a crazy-house and begin to try to kill him. This is super scary...ugh... :(
What's up with these people making scary clown movies. No wonder there are so many people who fear/hate clowns...it's a conspiracy I tell ya!!

I've never been on a plane but I agree that pretty much everyone feels scared at least the first time they ride on a plane. I hope I don't have a fear of it because I plan to travel a lot when I get older and I don't want that impeding my dreams! :x _________________ For the first time I feel as though I am reborn

Not everyone has that damn stupid fear of planes. Always less likely to die in a plane than in a car, that's why plane crashes make the news more often than car crashes, because they're more of a rarity and happen to pique more interest. That combined with the amount of people make it a big deal, not the number of plane crashes.
I've been in two car crashes and zero plane crashes, I know which I'd pick to travel by. _________________ One day, I shall come back. Yes, we shall all come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine. |

Thats true but i think the reason people are more afraid of planes is because you have a better chance of living through a car crash than a plane crash. _________________

I have many fears. I'm afraid of spiders, and lots of bugs in general. I really wasn't happy when they showed a video of the 'deadliest bugs' at school a few years ago. I'm also afraid of heights. I'm also afraid of the dark and at the same time, ghosts. I'm afraid of ghosts because I've seen quite a few of them. I'll save the stories for another thread, and another time.
Last but not least, I'm afraid of this
It seems to be some kind of seal that researchers have found. Apparently it came up when some of the really thick ice in the North/South poles melted. It was dehydrated and the photographer helped it to the edge of the ice.

I fear the reaper, even though I have been repeatedly told not to :)
Sometimes I fear the outside world. That's why I tend to lock myself away. _________________
