I thanked them for their time, happy with Murayamas context he provided and if the full bodies will be less detailed and smaller than the busts that's good enough "excuse" for me.

Hopefully you all are happy that I've given my OK even though you haven't seen the offer exactly. That response by them feels like a natural end to discussions to me, and we aren't changing anything.

Wow, you were able to get a response from Murayama. That is quite awesome.
They even acknowledged that they were rude in the past. Sounds pretty good to me.

As for my end, Frank's dad came back to me and said the modified bust is much better and he received no negative comments from friends who saw it. Thus I gave the Eiyuden team the go.

Wow thank you Fly and Vexie for your efforts on all of this! I have been out of the loop for the past year so it means a lot that you did all that and even got a response from Murayama.

In the end, a bust may even make more sense, since we'll get to see more detail of our friends' faces that way, anyway. I'm also glad they revised Red's bust after receiving additional photos.

Thank you both again -- I'm excited to see the finished product and their immortalizations. :)

Just for those that pop in, seems news just broke that Murayama passed away on the 6th from complications to an illness he was facing. I'm sure Vex will probably have more information on it when he pops by but there's a statement on https://505.games/ECHHYM.

Given last comms and that he was randomly stopping by the discord to answer questions people had that I stayed out of as no spoilers please, came as a right shock to me that he was sick let alone that he passed a week ago.

I post this as it indicates that there might be changes to things that were stated in kickstarter, so just in case, I'll keep those that stop by posted on any changes soon as I'm aware/able to.

Said it on discord but Vale Murayama-san, you gave joy to so many the world over just by expressing your imagination, and for that we are eternally thankful and privileged. May you finally know peace and rest.

Yes, what an incredible loss. Both Komuta and Kawano didn't reveal much in their facebook post, but it seems Murayama has been suffering from numerous ailments, and in the end had multiple organ failure.

He was fairly overweight, and he didn't really eat healthily as well -- to him he was 100% focused on his creation and didn't really care about anything else. His generally reclusive nature probably added to this situation -- if he had more people around him who would care for him, the situation would likely have been very different.
