The series is dead... probably, oh well... right? |

No, it just means we wait more. I wouldn't put it past Konami to announce something in October or January. TGS this year has been overrun by big Western companies and there's less space for smaller Japanese games and developers. It's not necessarily the place to make new mid-level announcements. |

I'm as beaten up as anyone with the lack of Suikoden at TGS, but aren't you being just a bit dramatic?
Tierkreis was very recent so there's no sign that the series is dead. _________________

There's another TGS next year... Not the time for panic quite yet... |

And when was the last time they made a surprise announcement of a Suikoden title at TGS? Oh, right. NEVER. *facepalm* _________________ Prejudice is a great timesaver. It enables you to form opinions without bothering to get facts. |

Where is this info coming from? I just did a quick search (including Konami's TGS site) and all I could find for today and yesterday was Metal Gear Solid. _________________

I'm kind of glad they haven't announced anything this soon after Tierkreis. It would've made me think they were putting out something relating to or continuing from that game instead of the main series. |

...or using Tierkreis as a distraction till they could get out a main game. Like they did with Tactics. _________________

If we looked to the release date of the main series:
S1: 12/15/95 JP
S2: 12/17/98 JP
S3: 07/11/02 JP
S4: 08/19/04 JP
S5: 02/23/06 JP
Almost 2 to 4 years between each one. So, if 2010 ended with no information about Suikoden VI, then the series is dead for sure. |

Not for sure. If it is being made for PS3, considering the poor reception early on and general difficulties with making games for it, it might take them a while to get out. _________________

I'm just saying that even really big franchises takes breaks at times. |

Next year is Suikoden's 15th Anniversary in Japan. However, I don't think we have to wait until 15th of December, 2010... |

If you're right in your assumption, I hope we don't have to wait till 2011 stateside! _________________
