Or maybe they were only working on it for a couple months before.
Does anyone know if a US DS will be able to play JP games? I want the JP release since I'm a Maaya Sakamoto fanboy, unless they're going to have the original Japanese in the US release. _________________

Yes. A DS from any Region can play games from any Region. Been that way for Nintendo handhelds for many many years. Ain't that great? _________________ One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee. |

Can I buy these through the Japanese site with an American credit card and such? I'm thinking about actually getting this (seeing as the US never gets as good of pre-order stuff), but I've never imported before. _________________

You should be able to make purchases with an American credit card-- however you need to make sure that the site you're using does shipments outside of Japan. _________________

You can't order directly from Japan, you have to buy from an import dealer like Play-Asia. And that's just the normal version, there's no guarantee that import shops get the special edition.
edit: now they're also selling the special edition... for a whopping 150 dollars plus shipping! The set does look mighty fine though, I suppose those who can buy it will be getting their money's worth. |
