Let's see:
- Newcastle signed another central defender in Coloccini. Yes, a centreback. Is he the next Boumsong? Marcelino? Bramble? Maybe.
- Tottenham can now play a 4-man midfield without having to use Lennon and Jenas. That's an improvement.
- Liverpool got Robbie Keane.
- Blackburn sucks.
- Andy Johnson just ruined his career by signing with Fulham.
There's a lot more to it than just those, but those are the only ones I can think of at the moment. Oh yeah, and Manchester United just won the Community Shield, so that's one trophy in.
And as a side note, Aaron Ramsey may turn out to be the best young guy Wenger's ever picked up.

Yep, but it's not totally surprising, in fact I'm surprised he left just now. Manchester can do without him and still have decent cover at the back, anyway. Arsenal, well, they did let Justin Hoyte go, so yeah.

And since it's deadline day, some transfers you should take note of for your team:
- Tottenham have picked up Vedran Corluka and Roman Pavyluchenko, plus Frazier Campbell on loan.
- Liverpool pick up Albert Riera, and send Steve Finnan to Espanyol. Andriy Voronin goes to Hertha Berlin.
- Manchester United pick up Dimitar Berbatov.
- Everton broke their record from some Belgian named Fellaini from Standard Liege. They also got Louis Saha.
- Manchester City pick up Robinho. They also got SWP back a couple days ago.
- Stoke, Hull and Sunderland got a bunch of players.
Yes, you read that right: It's City who pick up Robinho, putting out an offer Chelsea couldn't match. Holy crap, I think City are going to be really great this year, much better than Tottenham.
City: Hart, Ben Haim, Richards, Kompany, Dunne, Elano, Ireland, Wright-Phillips, Petrov, Jo, Robinho.
+ Johnson, Ball, Hamann, Benjani, Vassell
Pretty formidable lineup, plus a great coach in Mark Hughes. Definitely better than Tottenham, unless they do something about their central defense (Woodgate+King = injury, Dawson sucks), and get atleast 2 decent guys there.
