Yep, the first quote was the personal conversation between Canderous and Carth when they discuss their parts in wars. The second quote was said by HK-47 after his memory comes back and he tells you that Malak was the first meatbag.

That HAS to be a Lunar game... Working Designs are the only people with enough balls to have their characters say something like that in an American game... Well, that I can think of anyway... It would have to be either Ronfar from Lunar II or Kyle from Lunar I... I'm going with Lunar II: Eternal Blue, since I played that game only once, and I don't seem to remember that line from Lunar: Silver Star Story. Either is possible, but I can't see it coming from another game... Or character for that matter... :wink:
