Hey so I know we have a thread for each of the 3 GU games but this is a little different.

To those that haven't heard.
.Hack//GU Trilogy is an upcoming 85 minute CG animated movie that will be released straight to DVD and Bluray in Japan around January 25th 2008
The movie itself will cover stuff that happened in the .hack//GU games and then some

Considering they're smashing 3 games worth of story material (+extra) into 85 minutes there will probably alot of skipping around perhaps...but I myself and rather excited. Especially when they've finally released trailers!

seems like it's gonna be cool. can't wait for it to come on dvd here. though it prolly will take a year or so.

yes.. this definitely worth waiting.. i dont mind waiting 1- or 2 year for this DVD... we played this game and we know what great about this Anime..

Just letting ya'll know. Apparently The DVD/Blue-ray Japanese release of the movie has been pushed back to March 25th 2008

Apparently one of the main reason's behind this is because they've decided that it will be shown in theater's afterall
It'll be shown in select theaters in Japan on December 22nd 2007 (and apparently the rest of Japan will get it sometime in January? Not sure)

This is quite an interesting turn of events....I'll actually be overseas in Taiwan around that time....maybe with some luck it might be shown in Taiwan as well... :o
