One of the towns around here did a beard growing contest for their homecoming a few years ago. It was.....interesting. Thank God my father did not participate. I couldn't imagine him with a beard....

Well, NaBeGroMo has actually been over for a couple days now, but really, a couple of days aren't going to make that big a difference for me. After a full month of growing, I can't say the results are all that fantastic, but even if I can't grow a very good one, I support the spirit of the month. Here are my results:

Unfortunately my camera phone will not let me send any pictures to my e-mail, or send pictures in general, or I would post up what I have, which is an unruly mess of hair that needs to be tamed badly. I look very much like a drunken hobo. It's nice for the winter time, though, as my face doesn't get cold in the least bit, although my head does because for some reason I am a big fan of shaving it when it becomes a nuisance.

Mine was a lot worse. In fact, having not shaved for a month, I had facial hair that was barely noticable. From a distance you wouldn't be able to see it. Hopefully next year I'll have an entry worthy of taking a picture of.

I guess i am actually a a month late, but i haven't shaved in about 2 weeks. Not because of the beard growing month, but rather because i have 2 weeks of finals and i really don't think about anything else but studying and occasionally eating. I probably won't shave until christmas though. Maybe i will post a pic if i can find the time.

I like facial hair, but not necessarily beards. I'm all about stubble and some length, I guess.

I don't have any good pictures, but this about what NaBeGrMo, or however the hell it's spelled, managed to do for me. I forgot to take a picture when it was fully done. Mine doesn't really grow fast enough to participate in this sort of thing very well. Christ there are terrible pictures. I need hair cut in both....
