I'd certainly be interested though I'll take or leave the name/nation bit, I mean there's noone else in NZ anyway so its not like people will recognise the name. I have currently a hoodie that has "CIT" embroidered on the front and "HALLS 2001" on the right sleeve - that was a spur of the moment hoodie designed and ordered by students in the halls of residence at my Uni, and noone recognises what that means and its from this country!

I'd be keen for a hoodie or t-shirt, and I'm happy to pay for freight to my country as well if this goes ahead :)

I personally think we should have a picture of my face in the O in Suikox, adds value apparently.

I like this idea, but I don't wear hoodies unfortunately, only really t-shirts. :P

I could always use more hoodies. Or a hockey jersey. But either way, I like the design and I would purchase one!

An idea for the back might be the 5 elemental runes, or one large rune, similar to what you'd see on the back of a hoodie for a band.

The only problem with your idea ardii is that it costs a whole lot more to individual different things printed on the back of each hoodie, over the company just printing 24 of the same hoodies. It's much more cost effective to just make them all the same, in this case. I know because I've had to make shirts for my section in band for the past two years, blah.

I rather like the idea. I need new hoodies, I somehow lost all of mine over the summer, and now only have two. I really like this idea.

If they're charging extra for every line of text that is different content-wise, it's wise to look for another print shop. The lines of text on the sleeves will be different for each hoodie too, so it shouldn't matter for the back (except that the text would be larger of course). The shop i had stuff printed before charged per image and text elements. It didn't matter in cost if the content of the text elements would be different on any place on each piece of clothing, as long as there were the same amount of text elements.

Anyway, Hiccup will have to enlighten us about how this works at whatever shop she has the printing done.

OK, wow! I wake up and there are so many questions to answer! `^^'

OK, the way that they will be charging for the printing is by colour. So we want to look at using as few colours as possible--what we're looking at now is black, white and a really light blue. We will want to agree on either a blank back or backs with all the same things on them because all the shirts in the order are going to have to be the same. I also believe that the more complex the design (the more ink it uses) the more expensive it will be.
It would definitely be made of awesome to have the true runes on the back, but I don't even want to THINK about how much it would cost as far as the colours are concerned!
As for T shirts versus hoodies, I think the order can be printed on various pieces of clothing. I don't THINK they all have to be the same (all hoodies or all tshirts) but I could be wrong. I'll have to double-check on that.

As far as the nation and usernames on the sleeves, that is something that is totally extra and outside of the printing. It would cost extra, but it wouldn't have any effect on the order as a whole.

OK, so let me get this straight: Yes, there is interest. :)
—Either t-shirts or hoodies, though dark blue does seem to be the concensus.
—Either a blank back or a back listing only the PC nations
—White/black text on the front in a gothic script
—Blue Moon Rune backing design to the text
—Optional shoulder embroidery

i was going to put a Harmonian sigal on a shirt and walk around with it, seeing if i can freek people out, have them beliving the symbol is some kind of 'nazi' thing.
(i'd explane it as if it belonged to a real culture)

You could try Cafepress and the likes, but some sites have poor quality and you need to sell a lot. Plus if you'd have stuff ganked from Suikoden on them, there could be copyright issues.

as for advertising this site, it would mean there should be more "fourm police' and to weed out people who sholdn't be here.
and a big introduction for new signer-upers. You know. Just saying.

Every shirt and hoody I own contains a name of something, probably a band, that chances are no one I'm wearing it around will have heard of before. I'm always hoping someone will call me out on them though and strike up a conversation and I do the same if I see someone else wearing an interesting shirt. A shirt with a Suikox character on it, Yuber or Luca or something, that would be pretty cool. I'd wear it, heck I might even seek it out if it was designed well. That being said, if I caught some wanker walking around in an "FFShrine" or "Gamefaqs 4 Life" t-shirt I would point and laugh hysterically and be very tempted to run up and start kicking them. A Suikox hoody would probably justify the same reaction. A line of clothing for a place this small, centered on a video game no less, is grounds for instant mockery. Anyone who actually recognizes it probably knows who you are, and anyone who doesn't is either oblivious or catches on to the point where they assume you're in some lame RP community, probably like to prance around with fake swords and faerie costumes, and may enjoy anthropomorphic porn.

*Grimace*
Ouch, Shad.

...I mean, if having the name of the board on the shirt bothers people, I guess we could just go with the Rune design alone...
(though, like I said, the name's SO very esoteric that anyone who recognizes it is likely to be totally a nerd themselves, so there's not too much to worry about. Also, Suikoden isn't all that well known either, so I wouldn't put it anywhere near the level of wearing an FFShrine or a GameFAQs shirt.)

Besides, I've learned that no matter what I'm doing or wearing, there's always going to be someone who thinks I'm a dork or a moron or a snot or whatever, so I might as well wear what makes me happy.

Anyone who recognizes it is going to be another Suikox member. You act as if Suikox the web site is as famous as Final Fantasy the game or even as hated.

I would be interested in the hoody. I would also be interested in the shirt if it was a good one. I think you should check on the cost of having the 5 Elemantal Rune circle on the back added after the batch is finished, as an option, and it woudl also be nice to have the option of a nation left shoulder flag. Just find out how much it would cost to add after the main production, and offer it as an option to people if they want to pay for it. I would need to know the cost of shipping before deciding to add these, though. I'm totally down for this, in any case!

I just had to add this--to me it seems alot more dorky to wear something with an actual character on it, rather than something like a Rune design and an oblique reference. Buuuut, that's just me. >_>

Besides, what's wrong with prancing around dressed like a fairy??? (;) Kidding...just kidding...says the girl who loves to Cosplay...)

As for the elemental Runes--I can guarantee that it would hike the price through the roof, but I'll try. We'd need a green, a red and a yellow more at least, and with that many colours we'd be getting into the BIG bucks.

The nation flag idea is a really good one, and as long as people are willing to pay for it, it'd be OK! It could probably end up costing as much as an extra 15 dollars or so, and some of the more complex flags might be troublesome so small, but I'll ask the printer.

If anyone is curious about his or her shipping costs and you don't know how to figure it out on your own, go ahead and PM me as much info as you're comfortable giving me and I'll see what I can find out for you. :)

Oh, and though it sounded like a good idea at first, I think we should nix the Username/Nation print on left thing. Too much information, I think.

You wouldn't have to have it on yours. It'd be an extra optional thing. Also, you could choose just to have your nation name or something like that, if you wanted to, instead of your username and that.

I just want a shirt that says "HarmonianHiccup" and "Grasslands" on the shoulder! :3
