Hopefully it doesn't end up like that one 3D Street Fighter for PS2 |
There were actually 3x 3D Street Fighter games on PS2. The fact that most people don't know that speaks volumes about how bad they were to play.
The best things about the EX series were Skullomania (he was just cool) and Volcano Rosso's supercombo "AMERICANO HUSSY!". Basically he hits them a couple times then runs up their body and stands on their shoulders before starting to stamp his foot in their face till they hit the ground, upon which he says that awesome line :P _________________

I don't think you have to worry. Chances are, it'll stay 2D. Why or how do I know? It just will. I seriously don't know how to explain it, but considering fighting games is one of my hobbies and I spend a lot of time playing with friends...
I kinda just know.. maybe because we'd all boycott Capcom if the game turned 3D. (That, or not play it.. most likely the latter solution)
EDIT: There was actually only 1 3D Street Fighter on PS2. That was Street Fighter EX3. The other two before it were both on PS1. _________________

I hope that the characters in IV will be more traditional like in the alphas and Street Fighter II. Many of the characters in III were too paranormal and felt out of place. _________________

You know your street fighter man! I agree 100% They should bring Skullo back in full 2-D fashion. He was just badass in Ex 1, and when he got the red scarf in ex-2? My god, he was a da man!
Kairi wasn't that bad either, but there are way too many shoto's, perhaps if they took Ryu away? hahaha, yeah, sure Futch, keep dreaming.
I just want some kind of parry system, I crave for it, It's just awesome. Specially parrying that stupid Denjin Hadouken. _________________ DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! |

I thought the best thing about EX was the music. Oh, man, did those soundtracks rip. Who can forget the themes of Garuda, Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, and Charlie? Oh, how I love you, EX OST's...
In any case, the news of Street Fighter 4 makes me very happy. I can't wait to find out more information. _________________

I'll have to keep an eye out for this game. I want to see what new features will be added to the series. _________________ "Into battle we ride

Another Street Fighter?? Cool!
Like a lot of people, I just hope it's 2D. I'm tired of 3D fighters. Nothin' like a good ole' arcade brawl :D _________________ "...." - Any silent Hero

I think I'll actually give this game a try when it comes out, if it's available for PS3. My friends have been trying to get me into fighters for some time now. _________________

Like most Street Fighters there's a good chance that it'll be out in the arcades for a long while before it hits any consoles. The arcades in NZ aren't known for having cutting edge or new games but if I see it I'll certainly go try it out at the arcades first. _________________

For Street Fighter, the last thing I need are females with DOA vibes or ridiculously huge breasts.
I hope Capcom does not follow the same path as Namco and Tecmo did. Thankfully SEGA didn't. |

Well... SF3 came out in 1999 and there were many big juggly wuggly girls in videogames by then. I doubt Capcom jumps into that wagon, they know best... THEY DO ,RIGHT?
I can already see a megaman game with the character having big boobs (Zero in the X series doesn't count) _________________ DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! |
