So far it's really close between our squads Locke with very small differences in each catagory,things look like they could come down to Sunday Dec 30th to decide who wins this week between us.

Knowing Locke he will *poke* in the win on you there Lonelion. Thats just how he plays.

Ihope he slows you down some so can get some point room ahead of you in the standings. Just to close for my likes dude. So Locke kick his ass for me man.

Oh right it's the new year time to start to get back to the winning ways and start to make a climb in the standings after falling one spot before the new year. Hope can get even closer to the number one spot this week is ver with.

The injury bug continues to strike,as both Ryan Smyth and Jonathan Towes were placed on the IR which hurts since both were aiding my pool stats especially Towes.

With Joe Sakic is on IR at lease Towes was a nice replacement until he suffered his knee injury,i've turned to Pavol Demitra to fill in for Ryan Smyth,and it helps Demitra can play both wings too making him flexible for my roster changes.

I hear what you are saying brother. I have that out hurt and ones a goalie and you can not pick up a new goalie at all till you drop the one that hurt. Which sucks big time. I am starting to see my players are having there problems getting points or goalies are letting in to many bad goals and it hurting me in the standings. I may have to start droping players that i do not want to just help me out in the standings. If my players do not start playing some great hockey real soon.

Thats good to hear Locke. We need all the help we can get to make a good run at first place in the standings. Not just three or four people going for it but everbody should be alot closer in points then they really are as of now.

Scarlet must be really busy to adjust his team roster or something,having this kind of lead on him this week is really strange his team is normally competitive week in and week out.

Yeah word is that he is out for about 4 weeks, will miss the all-star game as well which isn't good for selling tickets to that, nevermind.

I've slipped out of first for now, I actually haven't lost for a while so this just means others have been winning with greater margins that I have instead of me actually having any crushing defeats in particular. This is another week where I'm in a game with a relatively close score as well.

Actually my team is having a pretty bad week in general, only 2 out of 3 goalies managing to hold things together is saving my score, maybe I can turn a couple of categories tonight and scrape some more points together. We shall see!

Yes i'm in a close one with Glen this week,i need to pull it out if i want to maintain my slim lead in the pool standings over you Exile.

There was a time you were running away with the standings lead but i guess it just goes to show you how quick momentum can switch in these fantasy pools.

I don't think I was ever running away really, I had about a ten points lead and I've been winning most weeks about 7-4 rather than the big 11-1s that some people seem to be pulling off. It's never been a huge gap.

Getting Gagne back is pretty nice considering he missed 20+ games on IR and I never moved him onto IR because of Dan Boyle hogging the spot. It should be about time he started repaying my faith!

Wow i actually rallied from behind to defeat Glen,i now have to prepare for this week's opponent.

I'm going to need a continued solid effort from my roster if i want to increase my lead in these standings.
