Walmart: Now paying $0 an hour!

Wal-Mart is all about cutting prices- for itself. I recently quit working there, and i'm done shopping there as well. At the store where i used to work, the old store manager was leaving.... with an $80,000 bonus check. everyone else got something like a $54 bonus check.

Sure, the kids in the article may get tips from customers, but that's not the same as actual compensation from their "employer".

While i was still at wal-mart, they stressed two points: Don't work for free, and make sure you take a lunch. if you violated one of those policies, you were fired, and that was that. I guess that only applies to "official employees"
