Looks like the underbelly of the internet has been unveiled to the public. And as we all know Anonymous DOES NOT FORGIVE

"We are anonymous. We do not forgive, we do not forget. We DO however, get our asses kicked in the real world"

That's what I heard.

Um....I'm going to make my myspace password real long, so that no "truly epic lulz" occur.

Wow, they played that one up good. The Anonymous I know typically isnt a hacker, though I don't know about 7chan's version of Anonymous as depicted in the report. The "bomb threat" they mention wasnt a threat at all, and its pathetic that they are trying to make it out that way - it was actually a story in one of their more innocent "Creepy threads" where they tell urban legends and such.

Easily one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen and buying an attack dog to keep out /b/tards has to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard of.

I know she's just concerned, but indeed, I laughed hard at that part. Overprotective mothers just are especially funny to me.

That has to be one of the most blatant examples of "keeping America scared," except it is done in such a bad way people just laugh at it. I liked how after they said the gang threatened to blow up stadiums they cut to a demonstration of a small yellow van exploding with the massive text "DEMONSTRATION" in the corner.

I was laughing the whole time through that video, especailly with that serious, threatening music in the background.

Forget Al-Qaeda. Apparently the biggest threat to America is Anonymous.

Anonymous is ruthless. Anonymous seeks to destroy all that is everything but Anonymous, even Mudkipz. This is how we know Anonymous is not human.

I am scared. I fear. I recognize the skill of Anonymous.

To be honest, if I was a parent receiving phone calls like that, threatening my family, and didn't have any idea who the people behind it really were, I'd be fucking scared too. Not everyone lives on the internet or knows who is really behind it, not to mention that what the group is doing, even though they aren't ever going to back it up, is still illegal.

While I did laugh at the demonstration part, it's a local news outlet that is reporting on something genuinely frightening or infuriating people. Local affiliates generally don't have such grand motives as the national screaming heads outlets.

The Anonymous story clearly is the most epic in history. It would have been unbeatable had the news anchor said "I did it for the lulz".

I found it pathetic that a girl would break up with someone because his myspace site got hacked. I think he's using it as an excuse for being lame and getting dumped for multiple reasons.

Speaking of epic news videos, I have one that is a clear runner-up:
http://www.humorpix.com/videos/2311-The-Shoplifting-seagull.html

No threats, and fun for the whole family. It's beautiful. Yeah, a seagull! Epic!

You can't be serious.

Local news is worse than the 24/7 news channels.
