I tried visiting their official forum at konami-data.com, and it seems like it has been hacked and defaced. They use a UBB forum, so I'm not really worried, but I can't find any info on this supposed hack. Seems like some sort of worm, and I see that a number of other sites have been affected.
Anybody heard of anything about this new wave of pestilence? |

what i've seen from most hackers is that they use more alternating capital letters. only thing low about that is that they hack a website that does nothing to any one. must been some kid who had nothing to do and thought he try their luck.

yeh, I forget the name, but someone hacked a furry forum (fursforchrist) once and all of a sudden the main index said "HaCkeD by JeNnA" or somthing. Oddly enough while browzing the form (for the classic "LULZ" It was hacked, But I was in one of the subforms, only till I went to the main index did I get the message and wasn't able to go to a subform (yay for backbutton and drop down navigation) Nothing was Deleted by the hacker. I don't know if Konami.com's forum was also whiped clean. Maybe it was the same kind of defacing? (a extra index that embeds its self and won't let you go anywhere else)
as for Konami.com, wow that sounds like a tough one to hack or crack into, Its not like a teen's form being broken into by a "script kiddy" right?
can you trace people who hack into forums?

Of all the hackers I've had, only one actually hacked INTO the forums and deleted stuff. He used a security exploit that, ironically enough, he actually told me about after he was done.
The rest of them generally just replace index pages with stupid messages. Still a hassle, but no biggie. Hasn't happened in a year or so though.

Konami got Hacked,what the heck is going on,i haven't logged on there today so this is news to me,any details on how messed up things are so i can relay this information to other regular konami posters on myspace.com.
This trend of people hacking sites is out of hand,too many good sites are getting messed up this way.
