That would be cool if it is a movie based on the Cthulhu Mythos. Now will they announce who is directing and whether it's going to be filmed a la the shaky vidcam that the teaser trailer was shown in.

yeah, when I first saw the viral sites, it convinced me that we were going to see some sort of Lovecraft style movie, which is really cool, to be honest, because even though I'm not a horror movie fan, stylistically I always wondered how one would play out. There's also a viral site at parasitemovie.com or something along that nature that links to the other two, which makes me think that it's not a Voltron movie.

The weblog annoyed me, because the guy was pissed off about being caught violating copyright laws. Without those laws, none of the crap the guy writes about would have lasted.

JJ Abrams apparently said the Ethan Haas sites weren't related to his movie. I would wager that www.Parasitemovie.com wasn't related to it either, as it seems to have a rather out of place link to a site for camping games (there is a post on the forums that related to Ethan Haas though, but I would wager it to be just a random fan site.) Of course, that could all be a ruse to get people to think they were unrelated, but who knows. www.ethanhaas.com and all the related sites are still interesting reads and all link the the site. The countdown on the parasite movie sites goes to the first of August for this year.
