|
|
I heard in the news that Kobe demands for a trade in another team..It just *gasp* I just can't believe that(har har).
hmmm and for the team?..I would pick the Orlando Magic? why? because I watch games of Orlando, Dwight Howard can't do it by himself (give him some more years) and I would say that they lack on veterans even though Grant Hill is there. It would be nice to see Kobe to Dwight or Dwight to kobe... ^________^ |

at first he said he wanted to be traded but then couple hours later he retraced his comments. saying that lakers is his team and he doesn't want to be traded. thought they really do need to do some thing about getting him some better players. _________________

If there's any team who could probably afford to trade for Kobe it would be the Phoenix Suns. They do have two first-round picks this upcoming draft in addition to Shawn Marion who they seem very willing to deal away. Kobe's reaping what he sowed with all his whining while playing with Shaq. I'm not absolving the Shaq-Diesel (sheesh, if that's not a retarded nickname I have no idea what is) for all that went down with the Lakers after the 2004 season.
The Lakers really can't do much to try and find the right players to surround Kobe. It's really difficult to sign quality free agents when one player take's up close to 1/3 of your team's salary cap numbers. I don't even think bringing Jerry West back in the capacity as the Lakers GM would solve the mess that is in La-La Land. Unless Kobe is willing to re-structure the remaining years of his contract the Lakers will be relegated to signing role players who may or may not play well with Kobe. _________________

Or maybe the Lakers should get another star player just like a 1-2 punch, no one in the nba or any leauge of sports can win a championship on his own he should have a partner in crime(^_^) just like jordan and pippen, magic and kareem, |

Naw, having say Kevin Garnett on the Lakers won't win them a guranteed championship - even if they blend, will they be able to get past the big guns? Personally I think yes, but we'll have to see if someone as big as KG or some other guy would fit nicely with Kobe and co. Then they'll stand a chance of beating teams like the Spurs, Suns and Detroit.
As for Kobe, I say stay. Just as a personal preference _________________

What Kobe needs to do is to shut up and play. The past week or so has made him look like he's mentally off his rocker at worst and an idiot at best. Let us see who he put under the bus in less than 48 hours.
1. Mitch Kupchak - for not being able to get him the players he thinks he needed to win a championship. This coming from a player who holds onto the ball like some pervert in a porno theater.
2. His teammates - by tossing Kupchak's ability as a GM Kobe pretty much insulted the players that Kupchak did get for him. Shame it would be considered unprofessional, but I would like to see his teammates just stand around with their hands on their hips for a whole game and tell Kobe to win the game all on his own. That's pretty much how he operates anyway why make the other 4 players run around for nothing.
3. Jim Buss - the owners son has been tossed beneath the tires for not helping Kupchak build a better team around Kobe.
4. Dr. Jerry Buss - making Dr. Buss look like the sole architect of breaking up the Shaq-Diesel/Rapist duo after 2004. I won't say Buss didn't have some role in it, but come on Kobe could easily have told Buss to keep Shaq and he would've even if it meant paying the luxury tax.
With the way the week went any hope Kobe had of Jerry West coming back to the Lakers went down the drain. I know many teams would want to trade for Kobe. He could easily re-start a flagging franchise by getting fans to see the team again. But will he win a championship with any team that trades for him I would say no. _________________

I think Kobe can win another championship but he need 3 things to make it happen
1.Listern to Phil
2.Another duo to play with
and lastly
3.He just need to PASS the ball |

He needs to grow up.
I think that the best solution for everyone would be to cut his ass, and let him go. Sure, he'd sign with someone else, but the damn drama would be over and people could concentrate on those actually still playing NBA basketball right now. :P _________________

like i said before in an other topic, look at his assists compaired to last years. they are up. he's starting to learn that he has to pass the ball more. the more of an all around player he becomes the better the team is. but ya if his team ain't scoring worth shit, he's going to take it on his back and bust out big point games like he has done before. _________________

As great a talent as he Kobe is I would assume that many teams (even those interested in trading for him) would be wary of his spoiled-brat attitude. If he goes to the Bulls and they don't win the championship with him will he turn on them as he has on the Lakers? I can see that happening on whatever team he goes to and the only team I can see which has a great chance of giving him that fourth title he wants would be Phoenix.
Phoenix would be the best fit since they have both the picks and players that could be bundled to trade to the Lakers for Kobe. But in Phoenix he won't be "The Man". That title goes to Steve Nash and I can't see Nash playing the meek point guard to Kobe's wanna-be gangsta image.
Yes, Kobe has in the past couple years tried to take on a more rough and tumble player with an edge. He just looks like a child playacting at being tough. I really would've like to have seen a fight in the parking lot between him and Raja Bell. I have a feeling Bell would've clocked him clean to the pavement. _________________

Kobe's a media whore and that's that. He saw that the attention had gone away from him with free agency having started and the draft completed. If I was the Lakers I wouldn't trade him and turn around and use the team's resources to mount a campaign to paint him in a worse light than he's doing well so far to paint himself in. _________________
