First off, the infected in 28 Days Later and here in 28 Weeks Later are not zombies. They're just very, very sick and extremely homicidal people. They don't eat people thus they're not zombies.
Now on to the trailer of what I thought at first was a cashing in on the first film. This one seems to be turning out to be much better with a more epic feel to it. May 11 cannot come soon enough.

Wow.
I'm a big fan of the original and I also own it. In fact, I watched it only a week ago.
I had absolutely no idea that a sequel was in the making and, truth be told, if I had known I would've been pretty skeptical. However, watching that trailer has made me very excited about this and I will most definitely be seeing this one at the cinema when it is released. I even had goosebumps watching that one, especially when that Muse song kicked in.
On a side note, I love Muse so knowing they will be on the soundtrack is a big plus. Depending on which song(s) of theirs they choose it could help the atmosphere, quite significantly, of the movie. _________________

I'm in the original...
No...that's a lie.
Okay, sorry.
I do, however, love the original! It's a great movie. I'm very excited by that trailer! Thanks for providing it Tullaryx! _________________

Nice trailer. It is funny that how well a lot of movies sell is based on the trailer. This will sell since the trailer is pretty good. _________________

Original was great, this looks like a piece of shit. I remain skeptical. _________________

The cast looks great, the plot is legitimate enough, and there is nothing but incredible base material to work off of, the original is simply too legit to have a bad sequel. _________________

I'm a bit skeptical, but this looks like it has potential. I loved the human interaction in the first one and I don't know if this will have that same level of interaction. _________________ "There is no normal life, there's just life. Now get on with it" |

I have a feeling that if this makes good enough box office then it'll go the trilogy route and we'll have 28 Months Later. Really, I think the movie will do alright and should entertain first and foremost with everything else being a bonus. The fact that Alex Garland wrote some, if not most, of the script is a good thing. _________________

I honestly don't know what to think about this. The first one was amazing..but I'm not to sure about this one. I happen to be a big fan of Cillian Murphy and the fact that he doesn't appear to be in this one leaves me skeptical as well. _________________ "It took hundreds to kill me but I killed humans by the thousands. his character was left in a very doomed position as it was. as much as I love mr murphy myself, I'm glad he's not in it as the story is much more grand than simply his life alone, which was a very adverse theme to the original, despite it being a survival horror. robert carlyle is as good a replacement as i'd love to see, so i suspect things will be pretty decent. _________________

The more I see and read about 28 Weeks Later the more I can see myself enjoying this sequel more than the original. I've always been into a more epic-scope when it came to apocalyptic storytelling and the trailer sure showed the infection being shown at a more epic and massive proportions. Plus, what's not to like in seeing London getting napalmed in such a pretty way. _________________

Many, many things Tull.
This movie looks good, I enjoyed the previous one and hopefully this won't fall short of expectations. |

The original didn't really interest me at all. I'm just not a fan of Zombie flicks. sure,m it's not exactly a zombie flick, But it's close enough.
I DO have to admit that the sequel does look fairly interesting..but I have a weak stomach when it comes to high level Gore, so I dunno if I'll bother to go see it.
I'm already afraid the ending will be unbearably lame and Rage will somehow spread to the mainland so that they can make 28 Months later. _________________
