If you want to see something cool on youtube, look up Shaun Livingston's knee injury. It's brutal. |
That was awesomely horrific. I dropped my drink when I saw that during the game. Brutal indeed. _________________

What the hell?
I was poking around YouTube, seeing if I could get lucky with some searches after finding links to German intros to the original Star Trek as well as Star Trek: The Next Generation, when I came upon a video for the German Deep Space Nine intro.
Since the Deep Space Nine intro never had any spoken dialogue, I was more interested to see what the title would be, since "Star Trek" was titled "Raumschiff Enterprise". Obviously, since Deep Space Nine didn't take place on the Enterprise (it was only featured in the pilot episode) it wouldn't be listed under that name.
Watching the video, it used the regular "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" logo, but what got me was... this I noticed within a second of starting the video, the audio was that of the fifth season intro for Babylon 5!
This has got to be someone just making their idealized version of an intro, since it can't be legal to use a theme for one show on an entirely different show. (though, I must confess, it is somewhat interesting considering Deep Space Nine and Babylon 5 have been compared to one another due to similarities in their setting. Hell, didn't the White Star appear in the third season of B5, like the Defiant was introduced in the third season of DS9?) _________________

I usually don't really enjoy MadTV all that much-- but this clip was pretty darn funny. It's a spoof on Steve Jobs, and the Iraq war. (as if there aren't enough of the latter-- but it's still funny)

Now this is something to behold. Just plain impressive - even if the daughter isn't firing at full power, she is really close with that long bow.
