Most Exciting: Any of the Makanakuy battles.

Most Anticlimactic: The first rebel raids. We're all expecting them to be a decent threat, and it turns out that they could be beaten buy a guy that won't even join for another three weeks.

I just got the XBox 360 for Christmas so it won't count for this year. With that said, Suikoden V was my best purchase of the year. As for worst, Madden 07 is the exact same thing as Madden 06.

Best = Pirates of the Caribbean. Worst equates to Me, You, and Dupree.

1.) What were the BEST and WORST video games of 2006?
Best: I'd be a bad fan if I didn't say Suikoden V. Not only does it have one of the best stories in the series, it had by far the best story of the year. That's what really does it for me anyways, the story.
Worst: I try to stay away from bad games, so my worst game of the year will actually be a game that's not too bad. Kingdom Hearts II. It was enjoyable, but everything was so much simplified from the original that I lost interest in attempting any of the side quests.

2.) What were the BEST and WORST movies of 2006?
Best: I probably won't be able to describe it as well as Tull, but the best movie of the year is easily Pan's Labyrinth. Everything about the movie is just done so well. The things that really jump out is the art design, direction, and some wonderful performances by the actors, and the child actress.
Worst: Eragon... I don't really want to talk about it. >_<

3.) What were the BEST and WORST songs of 2006?
I haven't listened to any new music, honestly. >_>

4.) What were the BEST and WORST products/toys of 2006?
Best: Nintendo Wii. Cogratulations to Nintendo for making their product much cheaper and much more available then Sony. Also congratulations for making the darn thing just a whole lot of fun.
Worst: PlayStation 3. I'm sure it's great-- and that's why it annoys me. Why don't I have one yet?! Why is it so darn expensive. bah!

5.) What were the BEST and WORST television shows of 2006?
Best: Tie, House and Monk. Two very excellent shows. I have been kind of wary of Monk lately, due to the fact that I felt Sharona was totally irreplacable, but his new care taker is doing just fine. House, is just great because of Hugh Laurie. He's an amazing actor.
Worst: They still have Survivor?!?

6.) What were the BEST and WORST cartoons of 2006?
Best: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya easily takes the cake here, for me. It's a strange mixture of the insanity of Fooly Cooly, the laughes of Negima, and the situational comedy style of Azumanga Daioh. The order of the show is a bit crazy, but I suppose it's done that way to reflect the way that Suzumiya's mind works. heh. It's just a wonderful show, and if you haven't seen it yet, you must go download it.
Worst: Well, there is a show that has been in filler episodes for nearly two years, and that is Naruto. How a show can maintain having such good TV ratings while being in fillers for such a god awful long time is beyond me. Thankfully they'll be returning to the actual story early next year. This time it's for real, BELIEVE IT! (okay-- corny joke, if you've seen the dub)

Best: Tie, Sialeeds and Arshtat. Not only did the two of them have excellent voice overs, their characters were just fantastic. Sialeeds is surprisingly deep for one so well endowed, and Arshtat has a couple of scenes that are just heart wrenching.
Worst: Vaan. This supposed main character of FFXII probably had the least amount of character development out of the lot.

There's one person who always really deserves this award in my mind, and that is Ced. He's kind of like Tinto's Nanny. ^^ He many not be quite as active any more, now that he's getting older, but he'll always be there to provide support for us. See, just like a nanny.

Who is Suikox's 2006 Diva? Well, I suppose I'll reluctantly give this one to Scarlet Assassin. With his new nation leader position, he's been propelled in to superstar status (in his mind). I thought this would be good feeder for your ego, though. ^_^

Best: The King of Fighters XI- A very awesome fighting game, with a boss that makes M. Bison and Shin Akuma cry.

Worst: X-Men: The Official Game- The game had so much potential with the characters, but they had to turn it into a standard level-driven gameplay.

2.) What were the BEST and WORST movies of 2006?
Best: V for Vendetta- It turned one of the best graphic novels into a good movie. The Wachowski brothers didn't do anything major to ruin it, and Hugo Weaving made a great V.

Worst: The Da Vinci Code- Tom Hank's hair should be an indication of how bad the movie was.

Best: Don't remember any particularly good songs of 2006

Worst: I will Remember You, by Ryan Cabrera- My ears still hurt from the last time.

BEST--Dead Rising. I did play Tomb Raider Legends and enjoyed the story, but it was sadly short. Suikoden V is also good. I haven't played FFXII yet so I can't tell with that game.
WORST--Not sure with this one since I try to avoid bad games.

BEST--Jet Li's Fearless. Filled with not only action, but a great, touching story.
WORST--Ice Age 2--the Meltdown. It really dragged.

BEST--Cascada's A Neverending Dream. Nice lyrics.
WORST--Not sure on this one. I like a lot of music.

BEST--I guess, I would have to go with Nintendo's Wii since I have read and heard a lot of good things about it. Other than that, I am not sure.

For the best, I'll go with Miakis. I think Miakis is a really really really really good character.
