PS2's firewire port

Any idea if any programs exist that let you access PS2 data on your computer through the USB or the firewire port? I know that isn't their original intended use, but I'm sure by now someone's gotta have figured out how to get at the memory card through that, right? ^_^ *looks hopeful* If anyone knows, I'd be very grateful for some help here.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I should have asked this long ago, when I first got a firewire card for my previous computer, but I entirely forgot the PS2s have such ports. USB I'm a little more screwed on, but not entirely, I don't think; the PS2 has the female end of a USB connection, so I'd need to find a female to female USB connector. I'm sure they exist, I just don't have one.
