Agreed. Me and my uncle were yelling Waterboy quotes at my brother today.

"Whats the matter boy? You too st-st-st-stupid to play football?"

So far it's been not a big month. I'll be buying up a bunch next week, but for now all I've bought are Hellsing OAV special edition vol. 2 and 300 special edition. I bought Hellsing for myself and 300 for the boat. It was that kind of good that I needed to share it with the unappreciative bastards that I work with.

Well, I recently acquired a widescreen copy of Kingdom of Heaven. My room mate was going to donate it to some charity or something so I stole it from him. I'll probably never watch it though. Despite having hundreds of movies I watch at most one a month, usually out of a pre-approved group of about 15. Since I didn't get around to seeing it in theaters though I might give it a try eventually. There are very few movies I can sit through twice, but if it's got enough violence I might make it through a first sitting.

It's been awhile since I've updated what I've added to my dvd collection. I've bought more anime dvds lately than live-action so will concentrate on that. It is all due to Sailor's constant nagging to get more anime that I've finally taken him up on his challenge. With what I bought he may never catch up to me unless he wins the lottery.

Most of those are in my collection as well, although some I bought as they came out so instead of the box set collection, like with Azumanga, I have each separate DVD. Anyways, that's a good start. The anime section on your DVDAF page still needs a lot of work, but I'm sure I'll be able to help you rectify that situation.

As for me, naturally I had to buy more DVDs. It was a must, really.

Ah My Goddess! 2, vol. 2: I Only Want to Be With You
AIR TV, vol. 1
Best Student Council, vol. 4: The Secret Lives of Students
Best Student Council, vol. 5: Special Talents - Crazy
Eureka Seven, vol. 8
Fate/Stay Night, vol. 4: Archer
Galaxy Angel Rune, vol. 1: Launch Angels
Hikaru no Go, vol. 9: Only One Can Win
Karin, vol. 2: Vampire Hunter
Kurau: Phantom Memory, vol. 3: Binary Complex
My Otome, vol.1 (Limited Edition)
Peach Girl, vol. 3
Rozen Maiden, vol. 2: Maiden War
Tsubasa, vol. 2: Seeds of Revolution
Utawarerumono, vol. 4: The Price of Freedom

Just keep in mind Tull, that try as you might, the anime department is far out of your reach. You don't cross into the amount of different genres that I do :)

The other night I went out to buy just one DVD, but it generally never works out the way you planned. I took a trip out to Future Shop, since their website said the new Babylon 5 DVD was in stock, but it was certainly a challenge finding it on the shelves. It wasn't in their new release section, rather in their section where they contained all their TV DVDs, in roughly alphabetical order. (It never works out perfectly, though) Since most TV DVDs are season box sets, I had to scour through the various single releases scattered within until I spotted the lone Babylon 5 logo.

Naturally, when you're surrounded by so many choices, you tend to browse a little bit, which is what I did and ended up spending more money than I had originally planned, but even at that I found a deal which was too good to pass up. So, my wares from my little excursion turned out to be:

Babylon 5: The Lost Tales - Voices in the Dark
Clerks (10th Anniversary)
Clerks II

Clerks and Clerks II were bundled together into a single package sporting the price which just one of these movies would have if they were to be bought separately so, since these two movies are the ones I've been missing in the Jersey Trilogy (in six parts...) I simply couldn't refuse.

Now I've just gotta stop procrastinating and get the bloody Rurouni Kenshin DVDs.
