I haven't bought any movies in a long time, but today I was at Walmart and picked up Running Scared and Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle for a combined total of like $15. I've seen both before and I think I gave them a 9/10 and 8/10. Harold & Kumar seems like a movie I could watch repeatedly and not get bored of, and Running Scared is just awesome. |

I got Pan's Labyrinth as well. It was wonderful. The story was great, and it was filmed so well. There was something beautiful about it, that's for sure. |

Ok, so here's the deal. I wasn't planning on buying any more DVDs this month, there really was no need to. But Rightstuf.com went and hit me over the head with a sale of 25 Geneon DVDs for $100. With anime prices as they are, I'd be insane NOT to buy them when they're being sold for $4 a piece. So, I got:
Adventures of the Mini Goddesses vol. 1
Adventures of the Mini Goddesses vol. 2
Adventures of the Mini Goddesses vol. 3
Adventures of the Mini Goddesses vol. 4
Fighting Spirit vol. 1
Fighting Spirit vol. 2
Fighting Spirit vol. 3
Melody of Oblivion vol. 1 w/artbox
Melody of Oblivion vol. 2
Melody of Oblivion vol. 3
Melody of Oblivion vol. 4
Melody of Oblivion vol. 5
Melody of Oblivion vol. 6
Niea Under 7 vol. 1
Niea Under 7 vol. 2
Niea Under 7 vol. 3
Niea Under 7 vol. 4
Sakura Wars: The Movie limited edition
Tenchi Muyo OAV vol. 1
Trigun vol. 1
Trigun vol. 2
Trigun vol. 3
Trigun vol. 4
Trigun vol. 5
Trigun vol. 6
All that normally would have come to $630. I paid a mere $100, plus the shipping was free as well. As I said, I could scarce afford not to take advantage of saving $530. _________________

Today I bought...
Dude, Where's My Car?, the greatest movie of all time. I'm telling you, this movie should have won 50 Oscars, all for Best Picture. Every year. They should have taken the old Oscars off all those boring old movies before them and given it to this one as well.
Saorise? (Irish for 'Freedom?'), which chronicles the Irish struggle for independence from 1919 to 1922 as recorded by the newsfilm camera operators of the time. Interesting stuff. _________________ One day, I shall come back. Yes, we shall all come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. I plan on picking up Avenged Sevenfold's All Excess soon. It's a music DVD, but it's still a DVD... Other than that, I'm not much of a movie person. |
