Well, it's not like I've forgotten about this topic, but I simply haven't bought any DVDs for a long time. Well, no longer. I had enough and just went and splurged. I may make another large purchase later on, we'll see how I feel. Anyways, I bought:

The newest DVD I bought was the special edition of "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" It's pretty neat. It came with the script, and a novel that fills in some of the time between the end of the game and the beginning of AC.

Other than that...I got "Red Eye" a little bit ago. Great, simple movie. Gotta love Cillian Murphey in it. :P

The newest DVD I picked up was "SE7EN", a really old movie starring Brad Pitt where you witness a series of murders, each one based on a certain sin. It was quite interesting, but I was also slightly disappointed by it

However you could've been disappointed by Se7en is beyond me. Check out Memento, if you already haven't.

That last one is actually just a preorder, it won't ship out until May 29th, but I wanted to be sure that I had a copy with my name on it. I definitely don't want to miss out on the limited edition versions of any of the releases which are packed full of Haruhi goodness :)

Memento does not have Christian Bale. You might be mistaking Guy Pearce for Bale who is in Memento. I think it's their sharp cheekbones.

As for being disappointed by Se7en just what about it was disappointing? I can't say it's the best movie ever, but it did have more pros about it than cons even though the pros rarely went beyond above average.

Ohhh I know now! Christopher Nolan directed "Memento" and he also directed "Batman Begins" and "The Prestige" whcih both have Christian Bale in it. :P

It could be you were thinking of The Machinist. That's the movie that has Christian Bale where he got dangerously skinny for the part.

Picked up one last DVD set, and that's Voltron collection 3. I think there's just the one more set of this coming out and then we'll be done with the lion Voltron arc. I do believe that they'll be releasing the vehicle Voltron as well, and then from what I've heard, the Japanese version, GoLion!
