What name did you christen your hero?

I used my own name. For every Suikoden...

As for the castles and armie, it really depended on my mood at the time of playthrough...

I named my first game

The hero was my real name just because i always do

The HQ was called Death

ANd the Army was also called Death

IN my 2nd game i called them.

The hero was Pesmerga Well because hes my favorite suikdoen person

The army is called umm Darksideo just becuse i couldn't fit f the moon

And the HQ is called Distortion becuase i was using my Distortion pedal at the time i named it.

when you nname your hero in suikoden 2 the same name as suikoden 1, Gremio will see the similarities...

My names are usually sports influenced. Hence, my hero for Suikoden IV: McLeod with an aptly named HQ: The Massive and army: Armada

I can't remember what I named the FC from Suikoden III, and Suikoden II is Pip.

i named the hero "Victor" on suikoden one and in suikoden 2, simply because "Victor" (if you look in the dictonary) means winner champion and such and it just seemed right because both of the heros are winners[/quote]

well as it seems, im the only one who remains consistent about naming my hero from suikoden 1 to 4 "Suikoden" i dunno but for me its cool so mc dohl was sc dohl, ahehehe

S1:Hero- Teo (Funny funny when Gremio is talking about both of them) and Chaz! As for castle Libirty.

S2: Hero- Teo or Genkaku. Castle and Army Dunan.

S3: Hero- Teo or Tir and Unity Castle.

S4: Hero-Teo! Ship and Army- Argo and Argonaughts.

Suikoden 1: At first I used to call him Madison so he'd be McDohl in 2. And then I just named him Tir when the name first came out and I'd modify his name with GameShark in 2.

Suikoden 2: Kal, Kalen, my name and nickname. Afterwards though, I'd name him Riou.

Suikoden 3: I named him Gaara (after watching Naruto) and Avalon (after beating Legaia Duel Saga)

Suikoden 4: Gokan, after this guy in my university who's name reminds me of a fusion between Goku and his son Gohan.

I randomly name the heroes after other video game characters.
S1: Ein and Wang Castle
S2: Hayate and something-or-other Castle
S3: Sol and Flaming Castle
S4: simply named Hero after myself and called the ship the SS Kansas (a joke between myself and a few friends)

Naming the ship the Argo is a good one, Milan!

Uff. I don't remember what I named my castle and the such in the first Suikodens, but the hero is always "Aldo". It was my great-grandfather's name on my father's side .. And it's also close enough to my name, yet short that it's quick to write.
In Suikoden 4.. Well, I just past the naming, and I was playing with my sister with random names; eventually named the ship "Titanic" - now I'm kinda hoping it won't sink ...
On the other hand, as far as the army, I called them the Deceased; and then I realized that the charge of the Deceased on board of the Titanic was a scary sight indeed.

Suikoden I: Tyr (I almost went with the default, but the spelling Tir always looked funny with me, so I just used the name of the Norse god, which is very similar)

Suikoden II: Haven't played it, I've only seen one copy of it and at the time it was between it and Valkyrie Profile, I didn't realize that when I got around to it, it would be going for $150 on ebay and $50 for the very rare used copy at game stores.

Suikoden III: Tyr (I wanted to use Lohengrin, but it was too long)

Suikoden IV: Tyr (I think I just noticed a pattern)
