Avatar/Signature Image Size Rule Change

I think it is best when signature is small but has lots of tastefulness!

You can extend the width if you like but you should keep the height at a MAXIMUM of 150 pixels. We want to keep it tastefull. Longer, shorter ones can look classier than the big chunky ones.

I personally like the Highland one actually. That hight is good (maybe a lil higher) but possibly twice as long would seem like a good idea. It would make the scrolling a lot easier and it would also give a lot of room for a nice banner.

Possibly TWO banners in one heh.

700 x 200? That's huge!! I would never make my banner more than 500 in width :shock:

Well, maybe I will reduce the limit to 500x 150 then... hee hee. As long as it doesn't affect your banner Midori!

it was very diffuclt to scrink my banner. Its not like it was 400 x 900 pixels either.
i mean, there is a differance between "your sig is too big shrink it" when it's 500 x 1300,.
I obyed my PM, funniest thing though, at my controll pannel when it said "new PM" i -knew it had to do with my sig banner- I thought it was a complante(sp?) about tthe Yaoi intuendo. it was the size :P Haha...they liked it.

this, is I think too big here, I'm even amazed the admin lets me use it where I am.

I almost did it acomplished it I think., as for advatars, I've been in places with 60 x 60 limmits. very hard to do when You dont draw one in photoshop and start with that sized pallet.

Personally I have no complaints about the width at all; it's the height that seems... gauche :)

Black Fang, thanks for the compliment about the Highland Banner; Icebergin designed it ages ago, but has since gone missing lol!

I don't like uneven avatars :s Again with my slight [url=http://www.suikox.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=397&start=0/OCD[/url], it makes me feel odd looking at non-sqaure avatars. Obviously things slightly out of sync is fine, but if there's an odd shaped avatar (a rectangle) just looks odd to me.

The old banner size is better in my opinion because it does not take much time in loading.

The new banner size looks okay to but I prefer the old one.

I didn't notice that the avatar size limits have changed, now I can make my avatar more visible :mrgreen: .

Me sees 150 x 120....heh mine is still 80 x 80 from Suikosource hehe. Guess it'll be time to update. Quck question though, why 150 height??? I've seen more useful landscape fotos rather than profile. *thinks of game and cartoon screens*

Mind you thats just me. Anyone else think there are more naturally landscape pics around???

150 because height doesn't really bother the board configuration. However, if width is beyond 120 pixels, it will start interfering with table parameters.
