I think that Viktor's weapon became the Shiko sword after you upgraded the weapon. I'm not too sure about that though. When you get the Star Dragon / Zodiac sword it is at the same weapon level as whatever Viktor's normal weapon level was at.

In Suikoden 1 yeah, It went from Taia to Shiko since you're using that weapon for most of the game.

It went for Taia to Shiko. And then it went to Koten after that if you sharpened it to high levels before the SDS.
