I was running a few duels using the engine when I noticed that my DEF stat was old it old super high level. When I checked this against my profile stats I could see it was different.
Not everyone is affected in this way, although I haven't done much investigation it was only myself that I spotted.
My Profile stats give me DEF: 458
My Duel stats give me DEF: 605
I compared against Blasphemy who has a DEF: 517 in both his profile and the duel engine.
[EDIT]: Got it. It seems whomever is in the first duelist slot has their old super-high DEF. The 2nd slot has the correct DEF stat.

Is it possible it's just a superficial thing? It's hard to tell since damage isn't consistent but the damage does seem fairly similar no matter what spot you're in on the duel calculatior.

It probably is superficial to an extent. I don't think it would affect the final outcome too much.
However if I am used for a duel then I know I'll want to be in slot 1. I imagine slot 1 is referencing an old link or some such thing which will take 30 seconds to fix.

A couple of my stats seem to be higher on the duel engine than they appear in my profile, I don't know which one is in error, I've made a few long posts lately and my magic hasn't budged on the profile so maybe it's the profile numbers that are off this time, but regardless of which is in error since I can't tell, they don't match.
It's a tiny error at the moment, just 2 points of magic and 1 magic defence up from my profile scores but I thought it could develop into a bigger error later or something and I thought you should be made aware of it.

I just noticed a rather strange dueling anomaly.
This is similar to the old problem Decado encountered where the different slots in the duel engine produced different results, at least superficially. However, this problem appears to have a very serious effect on the outcome of a duel, and affects only one duelist - Roundier Haia.
Forgive me for not supplying a screenshot, but I'm on a school computer with no way to play with images at the moment. However, if Roundier Haia is placed in the first slot, she has a strength of over 1,400, but in the second slot, she has only 490 strength, but a speed of almost 900. There are other differences as well, but this has an extremely profound effect on how Roundier Haia fights her duels.
Although it is true that Kanakan isn't currently fighting any other nations, this might have a serious effect on things like the Island Nations' recent exploration to Kanakan. Dueling Roundier Haia in slot 1 is very different from slot 2.
