Lundqvist is my hero! What a nice guy... I mean, we were having trouble scoring for a while, we really were. But after facing him, I saw my team's grip on their sticks loosen a bit and they started playing a lot better. Thanks Lundqvist, you're my hero!
I'm in 1st, but man, Scarlet caught up and is now tied with me. I have to beat out Locke this week. Hopefully Red can give Scarlet a run for his money and either win outright, or at least keep it close. It's crazy man. The Kooluk Krushinators are on a 6 week win streak outscoring his opponent 44-18.
Luckily I had Phil last week. Phil's team is a pushover, so I won handily and was able to keep pace with Scarlet. Only 20 points separate 1st and last, so two good weeks and you can be right at the top, or, at the bottom.

True this thing can go either way,thanks for letting me be in first place even though it was 1 week only.
This week may be tough for me,i try not to under-estimate anyone,when you start doing that it's them teams that jump up and beat you,i don't take anyone lightly.

My team has been slumping lately, like the last four weeks or so I haven't been getting the stats out of people I'd come to expect or only one half (goaltenders or players) was showing up and the other was losing miserably. This week looks a little bit so far but I'm not counting the points until they're confirmed either - I know I have a pretty good team so to see it drop all the way down to sixth from second is pretty surprising to me, my centres aren't fantastic but nylander is a nice addition, my goalies are a bit erratic at times but solid for the most part (this applies to Lehtonen more than Turco).
Oh well at least I'm doing well in the other league I'm in, still in second to Blasphemy with almost identical scores last week and now against the guy I haven't beat all season in about 5 match ups across both leagues I'm 5-5 with Blasphemy. Could I break the run? Dunno, the goalies have been awful in that league going 6 and 7 in GAA for the two that5 have played so far - Nabokov is the one unplayed so far so maybe he can turn it around a little there. Fun times.

I feel your pain Exile,my gang has had it's ups and downs(feel like i'm playing on an elevator)i actually miss your weekly breakdown you did on our league,i feel like i'm reading a real hockey report recapping the week that was.

My excuse is I've been pretty busy, I'll try and start it up again if I can find the time over christmas, if not I'll likely be able to retry in the new year at least. Watch this space I guess.

My team is playing like trash this week. I'm getting no offense and very minimal goaltending. Thank God for that friggin shutout or I'd be way deep in the hole. I guess this just goes to show that anyone can beat anyone right? If the guy in second to last can take on the first place team and be winning like this.

Greetings Emperor Scarlet Assassin,congradulations in becoming Kooluk's new leader,i know Elc was an awesome leader but i know you'll do great too.
My team isn't doing any good either this week,they've hit the skids going into the holiday break,isn't it weird all 3 top teams are getting their butts kicked but that's hockey pools for you no automatic wins here.

That 11-0 lead I've got over you is so deceptive Lonelion, honestly I could still lose to you this week, things are actually really close. I mean I'm on -5 and I lead that category, you're only a couple of goals and assists behind my totals as well. Like I say that match up really is much more even than the scoreline is showing, all the same I'm happy my team seems to be firing again and I'm getting some decent goaltending out of the Turco/Lehtonen partnership finally.

Isn't this the weeks final night before the holiday break,i doubt it'll improve much,why did the Islanders trade York to Philly,it's not going to do him any good playing there,they already got beat by Ottawa today.
So i'm figure you won this week i can't see my group overturning an 11 point difference,they might shave off a few points but that's all they'll do they stunk this week,my team sent you an early Christmas gift on this one.
I need a huge swing to even make this respectable,i'll settle for 6-5 anything is better than 11-0,tonights the icebreaker Merry Christmas to you Exile.
