Final Fantasy Tactics

This is one of my favorite games because just like suikoden you can use different types of people.
My favorite class would have to be Ramza as Squire with the two sword tech.
Next would be a Samurai.

I loved this game and my favorite job is a toss up between ninja, samurai, and lancer.

The story was okay-ish, but it was the gameplay that came off as a bit 'eh' to me. An average strategy RPG but there are simply more enjoyable titles out there, IMO. Never finished the game.

I'm starting over the game and hopefully I can at least use 1 monster in my party later on. Or use the weaker story characters instead of the stronger one or generic ones.

I have to agree with most everybody here, that FFT is a great game. It has a great sprawling story, well thought out gameplay, lots of levels, lots of job classes, and some good side quests.

My favorite job class abilities would have to be ninja or calculator.
The only slight complaint I have with the game when I play it is, that when you get a new main character in your party, that person starts at level 1!
It kind of discourages me from using new main characters.

Other than that it's a great game!

Greenunderground, new main characters other than Cloud don't join the party at level 1.

Anyway, FFT was incredible, far better than any other Square game other than Xenogears. I haven't played it in a while though, although it had a good story. And yes, FFTA was lame to the extreme.

Lunarblade's right. Cloud is the only main character that joins at level 1. Everybody else joins at around the same level that your Ramza is. Except Agrias and Mustadio, they always join at around level 12-13.

My favorite character is my female chemist->whitemage->summoner, and ya, she was the chemist that I got from the very beginning of the game. Save my behind loads of times, esp during the early stages.

FFT's job system is simple yet fun. Its a shame that it got ridiculously easy towards the end of the game. It starts out hard, and I needed to use the reset button at least once per battle, but that was challenging and fun.
FFT is in fact the only Strategy game that I have finished... I currently have: FFTA, Tactics Ogre (the GBA one), La Pucelle, Disgaea, Phatom Brave. I usually stopped after I was half way throught the game.

I dont understand this hatred towards FFTA. Ok, its not the best strategy game out there, but its not THAT bad.
A lot of people complain that the game is too "kiddie". What is a "kiddie" game anyway? The story of FFTA does have a serious overtone. It could have been a great storyline if it was properly developed.

Rheo, A kiddie game is something like...
The characters have big heads and a young look in there eyes and in the game it has to do with fluffy pink rabbits or it has little to no violence
like FFTA

The thing I hated most about FFTA is the poor storyline, the lack of curse words, and the main character had a "sissie" look in his eyes.

Who is your favorite Story Character?Now this could be Enemy or friendly character. Mine would have to be ..Wiegraf he was so evil and cool at the same time. :lol:

Yeah Final Fantasy Tactics was a great game. There was so much you could do and it was really challenging at times. Stealing Elmdor's equipment was especially fun.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance doesn't hold a candle to this game. I loathe that judge system.

oggg I forget my favorite guys or jobs.

I think...they should do somthing visual with FFT..like a comic or film.
the only other option is fan fiction. I won't go there.

does anyone have a complete list of Incantations for all spells in the game?
