N.Korea qualifies to the world cup.
SAudi 0 N.korea 0
The Norks parked the bus from the very beginning, in the end they had like 6 defenders and 3 Defensive mid's. They were partly lucky to concede none since there was like 5 chances should have resulted in a goal. Very poor finishing from the Saudi's
This result means that the Saudi's would have to play Bahrain in the play-off, whoever wins that match up advances to play New zealand. The Saudi's are clearly the favorites in both their coming match up against the Bahrainis; and the possible match up against the Kiwis, but who knows, they were after all the favorites to top the group but did not even finish second.
Iran are officially Eliminated.
Now, I would love to see the US play N. Korea in the world cup, sadly its improbable because the US might very will be in the same pot as N. Korea. |

Apparently David Villa has chosen where he wants to play next year, it's not public but I'm gambling on Real or Barcelona, he doesn't want to leave Spain. It's probably going to be Real though I'd guess. _________________

And yeah, I'll go ahead and push for a North Korea - South Korea matchup in 2010, be it Group Stage or Round of 16. If they can't settle their differences in their halls, they settle it on the field, dammit!
I guess he'll go to Madrid too. TBH, 'Pool aren't even much in the race (but linking Torres and Villa up in club level would be awesome), and Barcelona only if they have let go of Eto'o, otherwise I see them making only squad signings to deepen their team.
I guess if Villa goes, it will be interesting to see exactly how Pellegrini is going to field up his attacking players. With CR7 and Kaka joining Higuain, Raul, Huntelaar, van Nistelrooy, etc, I'd like to see how he plays that. Although Ruud will probably leave so that isn't final yet.

But they have been playing each other since round 3 of the qualifiers in asia?
Madrid needs a defender, I dont even know why they decided to go with Ronaldo. That 80 mill could have given them a world class defender something they badly need and probably a world class winger like tevez |

Those were just qualifiers, and, well... the whole world doesn't exactly take notice. But if it were the actual WC, everyone would see that it would be the ultimate test to determine which Korea is more awesome.
The money won't just get them that - I seriously doubt if any defender is deserving of a price tag of more than 25 million right now. Not even Chiellini, Ramos, or Vidic. Or even Maicon. With 80 mil, I think they can get Tevez + 3 good defenders and end up giving away one of their guys. Madrid haven't been buying in the defensive market yet, because as far as I know, they have this guy Ezequiel Garay who's supposed to be very, VERY good coming back to them. Maicon is linked though and I think he'll go, as Inter have already said that their players can leave if the price is right. _________________

Well if the rumors are to be believed Tevez wants out of Old Trafford, who can blame him really after seeing that lazy *%&^ Berbatov ahead of him. Hopefully Berbatov will get a bit more energy about him, he is a good player! As for Tevez, my opinion on the matter is that Ferguson left him on the bench alot to try to get the price tag lowered and this may have backfired......just my 2c worth. |

And now it's changed, United have allegedly offered 26 million to MSI for Tevez!
Sadly, I don't see how 1 million above the standard price is going to beat teams like Manchester City who'd be more than happy to top that. _________________

Well the rumours are saying Tevez wants out so no matter what is offered it will be no use......todays rumour is that Tevez has ruled out a move to Liverpool and to stay at United he wants the same salary as Ferdinand.....rumours...... |

I Would say Garay is an above average defender but nothing close to world class. Depth in D is what they badly need, but whatever its not like they are going to top barca for the league. |
