hmmm, how about when it is the enemy's turn to attack, the player still have the ability to do defensive actions, such as healing, curing, or changing accessories and/or armors, the same thing happens when the player is picking 'attacks' the enemies might be doing their defensive turns as well. One point, the game developer has to be able to create it in such a way that when one party is doing defensive while the other is picking offensive, if the defensive move takes longer to pick, then the offensive moves strike before the healing, curing or changing takes place, the offensive is the winner. Stats would play more, atk, vit, tec, speed, and all. SO, instead of waiting your turn just to heal, it's healing within seconds before the attack lands! Hah, that would spice things up! Imagine when you think you're going to win the battle because the enemies HPs are so low then just before your final strike, one of them has mega elixir, BAM! You really have to train your Tenkai and other SoDs to increase the stats!!!!
As for magic, well, they say that archery is strong against magical attack, soooo..??? Mages would have to perform their mantra faster if they want to be successful with the flaming arrows, breath of ice, or dancing flames!
Whoa, I could go on and on, but yeah, keep the turn based, add spices. |
