I'm finished here for a while. As I suspected, as soon as the war was gone, activity came to a halt, especially in SME. I can now go a week without posting once only to come back to maybe 2 or 3 threads that get my attention.
This also has to do with how I feel the site is being run. I strongly disagree with the amount of power mods are given here, and after I was banned for suggesting that one allow free speech, I just felt all my desire to post here slip away.
Unless I'm permabanned for this post, I'll probably be back when the new game starts up to at least see if activity has gotten better. I also may check in on IRC once in a while.

Free speech my ass-- you were banned because you were throwing around half-cooked, paranoid, baseless accusations around. In an e-mail to me, you said, "I totally understand the ban and feel like I deserved it." Now you openly disagree. That leaves me to question the sincerity of your intentions and integrity of your words.
You won't be banned or anything, because you didn't do anything bannable. But I don't want you to return because I can no longer trust you. You have completely lost my trust with your statements. That is all. |

Out of curiosity, Yvl, did you apologize to the admins like you said you "wanted" to?
I'm not going to make a spectacle of this or anything, but I'm hoping you did that much. You owed it to them for slapping them in the face when they're working their asses off for everyone's enjoyment. |

are you going to keep your promise this time? i, for one, am tired of your self-serving bs; this isn't YOUR site. if you want a site run by your rules, MAKE IT YOURSELF, and leave us alone.
for the entire time you've been coming here, you've done nothing but complain about how it doesn't 'suit your needs,' without once considering that this is vextor's site, not yours, and it's his choice how to run it, not yours.
further ticking me off is your attitude; arguing with people who don't agree with you, how you feel 'you're always right, no matter what' says that you have rather limited social skills and have no idea how to interact with other people correctly. i'd suggest some lessons, but i know that won't happen.
do us a favor and leave, but make it for good this time; i won't miss you and i know of several people who'd agree with me.
(apologies to vextor, fuji and anyone else who might find this to be a personal attack; i'm simply tired of this individuals inability to observe the glaringly obvious.)

Not sure if someone cares, but I am still related to this site. Since I still have no internet on my own and lifes actually gets more demanding, plus the (hopefully not permanent) lack of activity in generally, I am not here that very often. However, I still visit this forum as often as possible, since it is actually the only forum I visit ;)
