My family travels a lot because we travel with a group of friends. Usually we have 20 or so people packing the same plane all at once. The kids and adults take turns picking every vacation. Last time, they picked Rome. This year, with our pick it's Hawaii. We've gone to Orlando, Florida to check out Disney World and such. Las Vegas is always a favorite. Europe, etc. Basically, we go anywhere.
I will suggest to the whole community that you take a Cruise as soon as possible. I went on one of the Royal Caribbean Cruises, and for a whole week, free food on the ship, entertainment, pools, casino, gyms, and activities abound. And that's just on the ship too. Feel free to explore the port city and take a bike ride or something. It only cost us about 300 bucks or so (we chose lousy rooms because everyone knew they wouldn't sleep at all) for a week.
So yeah, go on a cruise and take time off for yourself. I recommend it. _________________

When I was young I've been to few places but I don't consider these trips as vacations mainly because it happened when I was little and at the time of the war between us and Iraq, we went to almost every country in the Middle East at that time.
After few years from the war, I want to Saudi Arabia several times for Omra and family issues (still have to go for Hajj, and the sake of seeing whatever places there is).
I've been to India once, but I don't remember much of the places, the only thing that stuck in my mind is my Mother's old house, the mountains near it (not that near), the huge black cows or buffalos, and the many trips to the cinema we took when we where there (I also remember an old hag standing somewhere in the middle of trees with pink leaves, although I doubt that was for real since no one else remember this beside me).
Like some of you, I'm dying to get out from here and to take a trip to anywhere alone even if it is for one day (it sucks not being allowed to travel alone u.u).
My family travels almost every two years or so but I don't go with them because of the summer courses I had/have to take (I swear sometimes I wonder if they do it intentionally in these particular times just so that I don't go).
But that isn't bad since I get more things for myself when they return ^)^.
Of course I want to travel to every place in the world one day, but since I know that won't happen, I'll try visiting some of the big/small nice interesting countries (still don't know which ones), I'll also try to end my life of vacations with a last trip to the moon, hope they have tickets to there when the time comes ^.^.
Yeah, a cruise around the world sounds fun, a cruise around the moon sounds more fun (if possible). _________________

Drummsta, How did you get there? If it was on a cruise boat, they check you passport when you come in, and take your picture. When ever you go on or off the boat, they take another picture, and compare to your orginal. _________________ If anybody asks about the avatar, I did it for Jess. |

My rents have gone on 2 cruises but I never got to go. Let me just say 2 words. All-inclusive. WHAT! Now that's what I'm talkin bout!!!
Anyway, I took a plane there Earthy. That cruise business is pretty tight security-like. Oh well...these days us Canadians need a passport to go to the states. Pshhhhhhhhh
Oh! Speaking of cruises...I've always wanted to go on the disney cruise!!! I went on the boat to look around when I was in the Bahamas...but it just wasn't enough! _________________

I never been myself, but a friend of mine said that view is better, and it's not nothing but cheap hotels. I would tell you to pack warm, but the climate is about the same as Ireland. I froze my butt off. In August. |
And here is me thinking that it might actually be warmer than Ireland in mid June! |

Maybe. It's just VERY hazzy. I was by the coast though. Uhm I can't remember which city. There was a fort ontop a huge hill. I know this is very vague, but if anyone knows please remind me. They had a at your own pace double decker tour bus, which was cool. I had never been on one before. _________________ If anybody asks about the avatar, I did it for Jess. |
