Federer, even when he plays badly beats world class players, it is quite remarkable.

He's a pretty darn cute guy. I have to say, I really have a soft sport for glasses, though-- so those just killed me. :D Serbian players are just so lovable. ^^ |
I could be Serbian too if I were born in Serbia and had Serbian parents Gil. |

There are "Result predicitions" in the NFL- and the Football/Soccer-thread (I don't know if there are more) so I thought about a Result prediction for the Australian Open too.
There are still two games left but the matches are when I sleep so maybe Aurelien could edit this post and add the names to the list.
The matches in Round 4 are:
Roger Federer vs Tomas Berdych
James Blake vs Marin Cilic
Novak Djokovic vs Lleyton Hewitt
Nalbandian/Ferrero vs Spadea/Ferrer
Richard Gasquet vs Jo-Wilfried Tsonga
Mikhail Youzhny vs Nikolay Davydenko
Philipp Kohlschreiber vs Jarkko Nieminen
Paul-Henri Mathieu vs Rafael Nadal
---------------------
My predicitions are:
Roger Federer vs Tomas Berdych
James Blake vs Marin Cilic
Novak Djokovic vs Lleyton Hewitt
Nalbandian/Ferrero vs Spadea/Ferrer
Richard Gasquet vs Jo-Wilfried Tsonga
Mikhail Youzhny vs Nikolay Davydenko
Philipp Kohlschreiber vs Jarkko Nieminen
Paul-Henri Mathieu vs Rafael Nadal |

I'll edit in my prediction for the one game that's left later today.
Roger Federer vs Tomas Berdych
James Blake vs Marin Cilic
Novak Djokovic vs Lleyton Hewitt
Nalbandian/Ferrero vs Spadea/Ferrer
Richard Gasquet vs Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (this should be a good match)
Mikhail Youzhny vs Nikolay Davydenko
Philipp Kohlschreiber vs Jarkko Nieminen
Paul-Henri Mathieu vs Rafael Nadal (should be a very good test for our Rafa, but he can win it)
edit: Serena Williams vs. Vaidasova next. Serena has a very difficult draw-- potentially having her play Vaidasova, Jankovic, and either Sharapova or Henin to get to the finals. Very difficult draw. First time in a long time that both Williams have a decent shot at making finals. =3 _________________

My predictions:
Roger Federer vs Tomas Berdych (Federer is too much for Berdych)
James Blake vs Marin Cilic (Cilic is good, though Blake is still the favorite)
Novak Djokovic vs Lleyton Hewitt (Hopefully Hewitt is too tired)
Ferrero vs Ferrer (Ferrero is better than just Ferrer who is missin an O ..... ok lame joke, but hey ...)
Richard Gasquet vs Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (Tsonga has been great so far)
Mikhail Youzhny vs Nikolay Davydenko (urgh ... just because Youzhny is no good)
Philipp Kohlschreiber vs Jarkko Nieminen (Kohlschreiber to continue his good run from winning Auckland's last week)
Paul-Henri Mathieu vs Rafael Nadal (Rafa quite comfortably)
Since I'll be leaving, I'll just make my bold prediction of the winner.
Men's singles: Novak Djokovic
Women's singles: Justine Henin _________________

good job, Sharapova. I thought the only one capable of defeating Henin would be Serena-- but Sharapova has been playing absolutely fantastically throughout this tournament. I'll have to catch a replay of this match on TV.

I'm rooting for a Venus vs. Sharapova final. Venus is going to have a huge obstacle in Ivanovic tonight, though. _________________
