The October contest, "Spooky Time in Zexen" was hosted by Baz von Steinitz. Here are the winners:

Zexen has also had quite a success with our cook-offs. With several varying recipes that amount to over 100 different meals and the appearance of over 20 different judges. Here are the results of our cook-offs since it began about 3 months ago:

For this winter, Zexen is in the midst of a special cook-off tournament hosted by Seraphblade, battle arena tournament hosted by Failure_Urn, and Zexen Idol (like American Idol) hosted by Milan Fiori.

The Nameless Lands RPG is on a short hiatus until I finalize some moving plans (I'm going to the Boston area, perhaps permanently). When it is open and ready, I'll even let some of you non-Vaguers in.

Shrew held a tea party, and it was very nice. Several varieties of tea were served, of which the favorite of Chrysanthemum Tea. In addition there was a platter of tea sandwiches and a plate of tasty cakes that were beyond tasty and possibly delicious.

Unfortunately no one came and Shrew liquidated the Nameless Population. It is very quiet now, but no one complains about public funds being used for tea parties anymore.

Harmonia is currently holding a Fighting Tournament, with the finals coming soon! Darko's character Xiahou Dai will face Mme. Geddoe's Xin Yi.

Bets are now open for the winner of the tournament, of course.

Can I submit a warrior for the Harmonian tournament? I want to enter Trucker Joe. He's one of the few survivors of the Running of the Shrews. He shall represent the Nameless Lands.

If he loses, we may let a few Harmonians visit Crystal Valley as tourists. If he wins...well, we've embarassed you guys enough in the past, so we don't need any reward. All the tears of defeat you've shed up until this point are reward enough.

Sure, he can join but he'll likely be given a makeover before he can participate. His fashion sense leaves much to be desired and those teeth of his are just putrid. We here in Harmonia take extra care of our appearance. *tosses hair*
