Episode 5 is 'Ballad of Fallen Angels' and is by far the best stand alone episode of the series. Often I'll pop in Bebop just to watch that episode. It's worth owning the whole series just to see it... It's my favorite episode of any anime. I get happy whenever someone mentions it! ^_^ Even the song at the end, Greenbird, is often playing on my comp. |
I completely agree with all of this. I believe the last ten minutes or so (the whole church scene) to be the greatest piece of anime ever created. _________________ "Into battle we ride

Cowboy Bebop is mainstream, but it's one of my favorite animes. The way the story flows and the characters are..it's just awesome. I also do agree that the church scene was very awesome. Also Spike vs Vicious is made of win! The music is also really good, and this one of the few animes where I find the dub better than the sub. _________________

I think the best scenes are usually the sentimental ones, with the cool jazz ("Waltz for ZIZI" or "Piano Bar") playing in the background. |

True dat. I especially like the scene where Ed leaves, the song playing is so fitting. I believe it's called "Call Me, Call Me." _________________ "Into battle we ride

Yeah, I love it! And the scene is mixed with shots showing Faye in her "house" - really touching. Truly one of the best scenes in the series IMHO. But of course The Ballad of the Fallen Angels is the masterpiece. _________________
