Here.

The song analyzed is of course, Play With Me, a song by a band named Extreme.

Thought it might interest you guys... since it was amazing. I never thought of it that way.

So yes, Extreme teaches history!

By that guy's ridiculous logic Nine Inch Nails' "Closer" could be rendered a dissertation on the art of butter churning and ice cream. These are the same sort of people who are so completely out of their minds that they honestly attempt to prove Slipknot and Linkin Park are clever and intelligent. If you're interested in history why not listen to bands that, you know, write lyrics about history, as apposed to trying to prove Nirvana's "Rape Me" analyzes the French Revolution. Get some Iced Earth, or Blind Guardian, or Demons & Wizards, or Falkenbach, or Red Sparowes, or Iron Maiden, or The Decemberists, or Kansas, or The Smiths, or Rage Against the Machine, or System of a Down, or wait most bands have written songs about history...

Iron Maiden are definately the artist I own with the most songs with a historical reference.

:off topic: That extreme song is cool though. Makes me think Bill and Ted's Excellent adventure when I hear it.

Tis true though most people have written songs about history, pretty sure Megadeths could have, I heard from some one that "Symphony of Destruction" was about Abe Lincoln but I'm not sure.
