I'm from the U.S., so I guess either we got the bad looking one or my region just got hosed. :/ |
I'd go for hosed. x.x
The PAL one is... actually, hold on, I'll go get it. Right-o, back.
Cover: Same as the PAL case cover
The inside gives a great feel to the game, it's faded, but not in a bleneded way. The manual is designed on the inside to give an impression of age, you know, like a treasure map. Obviously, this doesn't apply to screenshots or text.
Ys: The Ark of Napishtim was the game I refered to.
So, yeah, basically, we got the cool manual and the NTSC region got crap-on-paper.

That sounds a lot better then the NTSC one, we always get the shaft.
Ours is...well like Sophita says not very impressive, and apparently some are...fishy smelling. _________________

Yeah, they always seem to give us Europeans the nicer stuff or extras........maybe it is just because they want to soften us up because we usually have to wait so long for their bloody release here after they get their respective US release!
(Thank God i can import.) |

Second, this thread intriqued me and got me curious so I smelled mine, and IT SMELLS LIKE FISH!! |
Darn, and here I thought I was special. Atleast I know I am not going insane. I have two friends that are on suikox visiting today, and I am going to have them confirm the fishiness as well. Have yet to test it on my cat. God, I never thought I would need to test a game manual on my cat. x.x |

I wish I could smell the fish! Sorta. Mines didn't come with an owners manual/instruction booklet so I tried smelling the game case and it smelled like.... it smelled like rotten candy with a hint of placticky goodness. Mmmm mmm! Haha now you've got everyone sniffing thier instruction booklets... _________________
